Amazing episode, really sad actually. It was obvious something was up with all the emphasis on him holding the lipstick.

 

Yeah now that you mention it that did seem to have a bit of a focus.

House is fucked up big time. I hate season finale's. I know the whole point of a finale is to make you want more but damn.

 

I also hate the season finale, it seems like a series finale. I mean, after that kind of problem you can't practise medicine anymore.

 

I had thought the detox in episode 23 was Way too easy, but I'd attributed that to shoddy writing in preparation for House/Cuddy. Season 5 hasn't impressed me from its inception... there were a couple of good episodes, way too many bad episodes, irritating plot arcs, a bit over-the top melodrama, the final nail in a twisted Cameron/House coffin, House/Cuddy - some relationships can remain awesome without sexual content, a slightly turgid and very repetitious formula (although that's been a complaint for a while now), and a host of other problems.

Episode 24 is awesome, not only because the madness was unexpected (personally, I did not expect it until the series finale, and since season 6 had already been booked...) but also because it sets hope for a completely different dynamic. Atm, I have frankly no idea how it will go on. But I do hope it's still House's show (not too much focus on Forman's team solving mysteries, which, reading into the subtext of this episode, they probably wouldn't be: the man's girlfriend solved it).

Tl;Dr: Mehish Season. Awesome finale. Looking forward to September.

 

Yeah, but House solved the guy from Oceans problem, the pancreatic cancer. It was just awesome like that. The mental break down was a big surprise for me, and I cant wait to see more.

I can just foresee that season 6 will be House`s progress in the hospital and how his team will to without him.

 

House has mental problems, Booth from Bones has hallucination inducing brain tumor.

Fantastic finale - "LOL it was all a dream" normally really bugs me, but I thought it was really well done.

I'm currently thinking (at the start of season 6) they'll have the team trying to solve problems, they won't be able to, and they'll call House and he'll have his super-insights and guide them through each case. It'll allow the show to still have him handling cases and keeping that theme going, while also dealing with him in the mental institution.

 

Well, season 6 premier is coming up today I believe. Pretty sure it said the 20th/9/09. All I know is that its the 21st here in NZ, and I want mah new house season.

 

I didn't see it when I used guide but maybe I missed it.

I thought the premiere was great. All about House, no medical mysteries or anything to get in the way. A good mix of comedy and seriousness. We'll see about the rest of the season, though.

 

The first episode wasn't bad, but I'm glad they decided to only keep him there for one episode. Did anyone feel that House's character just wasn't.... House at the end?

 

I found myself wanting him to actually totally take over the ward. It would be more House like of him.

 

I liked this episode. It was more interesting than Heroes. Although, I hate the return of Thirteen.

How can anyone hate THIRTEEN?!?! Bi and hot as hell.

First episode was great. House is broken and whats more he knows it. Now he is gonna fix himself if at all possible.

 

This, she's fucking annoying although nice to look at.

 

I loved this episode. About time House found a Doctor who is almost his match, as well as break the whole "House is better than everyone" routine. A refreshing episode, really looking forward for more.

 

This episode just made me wtf the whole time. It's certainly different to see him failing more, but I feel like we saw a lot of that towards the end of the fifth season. I'm almost nervous to see what the future will hold. He seems to have almost lost his talent for diagnosing "medical mysteries", then again he was right about the whole music box incident.

Overall, this premiere left me kind of mad about the whole premises, but it's probably because I had so many questions that were left UNANSWERED.
