Evil! Harry

Is there any evil Harry stories around that have him STAY evil.

Evil as in murdering and hurting people with no remose for the whole story and not two chapters and having a heartattack over what he did the next. Preferably fics where he's not screwing draco/severus/voldemort up the backside and actually wins overall, and APART from Lust of a dark soul.

I read one where he became 'Hary J Poter' or some other shit, but that fic was messed up...so if anyone has any decent links.

I've never finished it, coz Harry was just too fucking crazy for me in that one. But it wasn't badly written or anything...

I just remembered a story when he breaks out of Azkaban totally crazy and with god-like powers. He don't really give a shit who will win the war so he teleports both Death Eaters and OOTP on Hogwarts Quidditch field and makes them participate in something like olympic games, with him as host and winner takes all kind of reward...

Actually if someone remembers what's it's name, drop a line will you? I've been searching for it for some time now and I still can't find it.

 

Harry's Madness just goes way past evil and into strange and twisted shit, I agree with you there.

I'd also like that link sounds cool to have them battle it out, heh.

I don't think I'd consider the story Evil!Harry at all. Just a betrayal!Azkaban story with righteous vengeance. Haven't even read it in many months, since I wanted so much more and there was really only two battles. Needed more before it got abandoned.

And yes maybe less Ginny-loving.

Im searching for fics where Harry is evil and stays evil through out the story. But I dont want him though be super evil just like a normal thief or something.
It would be good if it was a complete AU and he never was friends with Ron and Hermione but it isnt necessary.
I have looked through the library but nothing has caught my attention and it doesnt really says if he stay evil throughout the fic.

Try and remember to search the Discussion section for inquiries identical to your own, and not just the library.

Though your best bet may be IRC, where you can be a newbie and ask all the looking for questions you want.

And frankly, being a thief or not-too-evil isn't exactly an evil Harry story. Plenty of Dark, Independent fics have him as an anti-hero of sorts. The-Caitiff's The Next Great Adventure has him smuggling weapons in the underground among other things. Quite a few include assassin for hire type sorts of Harry.

 

I hate to self-plug a fic, but my one-shot Turncoat has a pretty evil Harry in it...

I don't remember reading any decent evil Harry fic except Traitorous. I am looking for such fics, specially ones in which Harry betrays everyone unexpectedly.

 

Same here, I haven't found any genuinely good evil Harry fics. If you are willing to read most generic stuff, almost all of the Mature work in WBA is evil Harry in some manner, but those stories aren't exactly focused on Harry's decent into evil. I think the main problem with this genre is the since most people like to associate with the main character, including the author, nobody likes to right a believably evil Harry, not Harry that gets abused or w/e and swears to have revenge.

That all being said, I do know of 2 novel length evil Harry fics. They are pretty old, and the quality probably doesn't match todays standards, and tbh I'm not sure how believable they are one Harry's characterization, but Harry's madness is a 37 chapter abandoned fic, but still very entertaining. I never read beyond the 3rd chapter of the other, but I think its calledd Blackened Sunrise or something, and what I remember is that Harry escaped Dumbledore and co in the summer after his 5th year and joins some cult, becomes super powerful and smart etc, and is recaptured and bound to Hogwarts with a collar. I know that's vague but It's all I know of the fic.

 

Harry's Madness? Is that the one where he dressed like a jester and the DA turns into some big great army? I read that one ages ago, and really, it doesn't so much gives a realistic descent into madness as just assumes that Harry was more than half way psychotic already and a few little pushes will send him over the edge.

Also, the Harry v/s Dumbledore duel in that fic was the silliest I've ever read. It involved Harry running on the walls if I'm remembering it right. Neville was some Water Elemental/mage and read more like a veteran general than a 15 year old, let alone Neville at 15 year old. And the rest of the characters were even more 'out there'.

Blackened Sunrise by 'The Itch', I admit to liking at the time. And I've since come across a number of hack authors who copy it all to make Harry even more 'bad-ass'.

Now, I doubt I'd get past the first chapter. It was completely and without explaination, an AU, involved a runt sized Potter dressing in over sized clothing, which the writer found amusing. Then the way to obtain the 'Power' as she (he?) called it was to go mad. Don't ask, the mechanics were never very clear.

The Power itself seemed to involve a multiple personality disorder that had Harry turn into some 7 feet tall grayish monster, or something like that. The rest of it was no better. Near the chapter I read, there was something about Lily Evans, Harry ending up with some Drows or evil-elf creatures, Malfoy (I think..) ending up in some school in America, Hermione a Rune magic mistress and a lot of little fairies.....The more I remember, the more I'm ashamed at how low my standards used to be.

I haven't thought of this story in years, but the writer claimed that the basic idea of the story was for a real novel she/he was writing and would soon be out.

Neither of those stories come close to showing a realistic descent into darkness, though I liked them both at the time and did impatiently wait for updates....

@Phoenix rage: Have you read 'Only Enemies'? It's not exactly evil Harry but I think you'll like it. Great action scenes and a really dark and cynic Harry from a war torn dimension thrown into an evil mirror dimension along with Bellatrix Lestrange. Search for it on ff.net if you haven't as I don't remember the author's name and can't be bothered to look up the link

It's been awhile since I read it, but I recall Harry from Ruskbyte's From the Abyss to be pretty evil. It's a good read, if incomplete. (And in the Library, if I recall).
