Okay this is here because I don't want to compete with Schrodinger's ass posting thread in Real Life Discussion.

    Besides I do need 'support'/ help :D

Need suggestions for running or working out songs.

Something that gets your blood pumping, helps you break through the threshold when you're body is saying 'fuck you!' and you wanna say 'No, fuck you' right back, but you can't do anything because your body has you by the balls.

    So anyway, my staples are:

    Rage Against the Machine
    Daft Punk
    Crystal Method
O Fortunua <-- (Yes, yes, lawl away, but it is true)
Coheed and Cambria's Welcome Back - instrumental.
A David Guetta mix here and there.

Anyway, what do you all listen to. Can be any music genre as long as it makes you want to scream murder and commit sin.

Remember the Name by Fort Minor
    Last Resort by Papa Roach
Down with the Sickness by Disturbed
    Indestructible by Disturbed
    Till I Collapse by Eminem

Those are my favorites to work out to, but I might add more as I think of them.

Edit: These are songs suited for weight lifting. Aerobics...not so much ;)

My Ipod isn't handy, but what I recall from my hard cardio playlist:

Metalliica: several, mostly from Black album, Master of Puppets
NiN: Mr. Self Destruct, Big Man With A Gun
Rage Against the Machine: (Lots of titles--you've got Rage covered).
    Cowboy Bebop soundtrack: Tank!
Iron Maiden: Run to the Hills
Guns N Roses: Nighttrain, Paradise City (starts slow, ends a sprint)
The Ramones: songs under 2 minutes duration (because the guitarist couldn't strum that fast for longer).

    Played on shuffle.

Rocky theme song and other soundtracks by survivor. The most epic workout theme EVAH.

Seriously most of the shit linked to the Rocky movies was meant to get your blood pumping. It works for me even now. XD

EDIT: Since you're making a playlist and no one's mentioned this before, try "Amon Amarth". If you havn't heard of them before, its a heavy metal group solely focusing on Norse mythology for their music.
If nothing, its entertaining to listen to some of their lyrics. >_>

    Agree heavily on the RATM.

    Drowning Pool - Bodies
Killswitch Engage - The End of Heartache
    Dragonforce (LOL)
    The Drop Kick Murpheys
    Grinspoon
    Greenday
    Lamb of God
    Linkin Park
    Limp Bizkit
    The Living End
    Nirvana

    Etc

Basically any punk or metal with a fast tempo which makes you want to kill someone to it's beat.

Hardcore would qualify but I listen to enough of that shit at work to amke me want to kill myself after killing the shitty bands who play it.

    Also, hardstyle for the lulz.

    The Clash : London Calling
OK Go : Get Over It
Rammstein : Links 234 (plenty of Rammstein will work, but that's the best out of the bunch IMO)
The Offspring : Staring At The Sun
The White Stripes : Seven Nation Army
    Weezer : Hash Pipe
    Muse : Stockholm Syndrome
    Led Zeppelin : Communications Breakdown
    Kasabian : Shoot The Runner
Eminem : Lose Yourself (most inspirational song ever)
Linkin Park : Anything off Hybrid Theory
Nirvana : Smells Like Teen Spirit

And for the token French music so I don't feel guilty: Le Gang by BB Brunes

Also, if you're talking about O Fortuna by Carl Orff, then you probably have the best workout song anyway.

EDIT : How could I forget ; Helter Skelter by The Beatles

Awesome guys. I'm going to make a DLP workout playlist on uT00b and post it here.

If there is a particular song from the bands/singers you've suggested let me know.

    Keep 'em coming!

Girls, you can recommend stuff too.

I kinda like some of the trancey stuff for workout... <_<

    Sandstorm - Darude
    Adagio for Strings - Tiesto

Anything that has the same sorta build up the tempo style that those songs have seems to work for me.

I'm currently listening to Muse - Uprising. Dunno if it qualifies, but I know that next time I go for a run, I'll set it to play in circle.

    DLP YOUTUBE WORKOUT CHANNEL

Gang and Gangettes, I have created a DLP youtube account for music to be worked out to. Running, lifting, kicking ass, w.e.

Only rule is that it gets your blood pumping and as I said before: makes you want to scream murder and commit sin.

    Link: Whip it DLP!

    Username is WhipitDLP

It's going to take me a while to add to favorites everything you all have posted here. I have just gotten through Blaise's post and picked some from other posters.

Rest assured I'll put everyone's music up, as long as I can find it on youtube.

If you find a better link for a song post it. If you want to post youtube links along with the song suggestion, awesome!

    Enjoy everyone.

All you need is "Eye of the Tiger" by Survivor. All Rocky had to do was listen to it once during a training montage and he beat the crap out of Mr. T.

I think you need a beach too, not to mention Action Jackson yelling, "Eye of the Tiger, Rock, Eye of the Tiger!"

I only see one recommendation for Breaking Benjamin and this displeases Antivash very much. And since I just got the new album, Dear Agony, I must insist you do so as well. I Will Not Bow kept me motivated enough to actually do shit when I was at work and wanted to slack off on a computer.

All That Remains has some good stuff, In Flames, Revolverheld's Generation Rock is pretty good. And I have no idea why no one has brought up Bohemian Rhapsody. >_>

    Tasteless fags.
