Ex: I was reading "A Champions New Hope" and everytime Daphne appeared, I had to drink b/c she is such a Mary Sue.

Depends on what fic you read. It's either bird club, turkey club, Order of the Burning Turkey, or some stupid variation.

If you really want to get drunk, pick a story and drink at every major grammatical error.

 

I've seen Order of the Flaming Chicken a time or two. Usually occurs in indie!Harry or manipulative!Dumbledore fics.

 

Pick any Indy!Harry and drink on any variation of Dumbles/Voldie/Moldy-wort/Voldie-shorts/Dark Wanker/etc.

See, sirius009 has the idea. A lot of you are a popping in here with bullshit, and this dude is getting drunk, naming the story he was reading, and mentioning what he was drinking for. Simple, to the point, and tailor-made for someone else to do the same - which is what I wanted when I designed this thread.

 

Read Order of the Phoenix and drink whenever Harry speaks in ALL CAPS ANGST.

 

Every time you read diologue meant to express an accent in GoF, drink.

 

You have to troll really deep for those, and I've found some of them. I read I found one where they got called the Kentucky Fried Chicken Gang.

I'd drink to the stories where Harry gets a harem, rebels against Dumblefuck, befriends goblins and inherits property. On plus side of these stories though, there is tons of Weasley bashing so all of these cliches turn out to be a-OK with me.

How about drink everytime you read something like "all the Weasleys betrayed me, except Fred and George.." or the twins are referred to as "Gred and Forge."

 

I'm thinking of taking a drink each time Renegade Cause adds another Xanatos Gambit to its pile. Reading that story in one sitting would cause some major damage, especially by the end when damn near everything is revealed to be important later on!
