He has progressed more than a little bit in those 2 years.


One must wonder how stupid Voldemort really is. Dumbledore is keeping Harry's darker tendecies in check, by killing him Voldemort is left with an unrestrained slightly insane, incredibly powerful, smart, talented, and deadly, Denarian Lord who has proven to be the match of all of his fellow Denarians and Maeve.

 

Match? The fact that Harry is alive and they aren't would strongly imply that he is their better.

 

On the other hand, Harry still isn't a match for Voldemort and his recklessness does him more harm than good. *If* Dumbledore dies, Harry not only loses the Order but also any chances to reconcile with Scrimgeour.

Harry a match for Maeve? In case you don't remember, if not for a stroke of luck, Maeve would've killed him.

And about the progression: he evolved as a character and he progressed much, magically. If that was the case also for his body, some foreshadowing would be in order, imo.

 

I think you people underestimate Lord Voldemort.

 

There hasn't been much in terms of Voldemort activity. Either that or he has something massive building up off-screen.

 

I just can't wait to see the duel between AD and TMR. And I hope that Harry will be involved somehow (maybe have him disarm LV somehow making him leave without the Elder Wand? ).

 

Epic, Shezza, epic. Or at least, momentarily about to become epic.

The chapter is good, though I cannot help but think Dumbledore is acting a little too irrationally. I would think he could keep his head cooler, even when being taunted by past failures. But maybe he's more like Harry than he pretends.

Voldemort really isn't acting intelligently, he has the wand. He could have killed Dumbledore when he was unguarded, and now there's going to be an epic battle. Would have been nicer to see a more logical Voldemort, but I guess the current one is okay. His scheme seems to make some sense, at least.

 

And it would be a better death for Bellatrix than the canon one...

EPIC update, I can't wait for more, but I fear the day the trilogy will end. Hopefully it will continue to inspire omakes, or even fanfiction.
