    Title: The Shocker Legit
    Fandoms: Marvel Universe
Rating: PG-13 for language and concepts
Summary: The Shocker decides that because good always triumphs it's time to become one of the good guys. With hilarious and frequently epic results. Along the way he runs into secret conspiracies, unexpected nemeses and triumphs, with a Little help from his friends. Complete.

In my opinion, quite honestly the best Marvel fanfic out there. Gets a little Gary Stue in the end, but overall an excellent fic. If possible add it to the archive, since it might get taken off.

    Hash,
This is hilarious. How did you find this anyway? You really feel sorry for the fellow at chapter one. He really doesn't have any super powers, but it makes you think how in the world did someone that smart wind up working in Burger King?

I have only fiinished chapter 5 but from what I see so far this belongs in the archives.

... I read that title and the first thing that came to mind was The Shocker. As in with fingers.

    Does that make me weird?

EDIT: This. This is the single most beautiful piece of fanfiction I have ever fucking read. I don't care that half that shit didn't add up; this thing kep[t me up 3 hours after I decided to go to bed. 5/5. 6/5. 7/5. Just too fucking awesome.

Finished. Holy shit balls awesome. I'm not a big fan of comic books, and have only a passing familiarity with some of this stuff, but I was still able to get by well enough to enjoy this. Holy fucking shit balls awesome.

Finished this last night. Was good. I liked the pacing, and it read very well.

Still need to archive it though. Heard the writer's trying to push it to Marvel, so...

That site has shown me more bad fiction than I can count, a miracle you actually found something worth reading there.

I dunno, it's shown me some pretty good ones too. I found A Colder War from there too, and that's one of the scariest/most awesome stories I've read.

I loved every minute of this. The author managed to throw in some humor while still keeping a mature tone at most times.

Awesome fic, loved every second of it. I'm not really that familiar with the Marvelverse but this was epic. The conspiratorial plot and the flawed genius protagonist were especially compelling.

It was a good story, but I felt that it sort of fell apart at the end. The whole twist was confusingly delivered, and by the time it was de-muddled and clarified, it had lost much of its punch.

The epilogue pissed me off the most. Overall though, it deserves a solid 4.5/5.

True. If he had done a newspaper article version done by Peter Parker commenting on the series of events and the death of the Shocker and all the others, it would have been much better. Seen in death as a villain perhaps?

I loved it, but I honesty felt that the author started giving up on the end. It wasn't wrapped up well at all, despite the fact that he had come up with such a compelling plot line and it seemed like from the beginning he had somewhere he was going with it.

Honestly, he shouldn't have killed everyone off right at the climax, if he was just going to bring them all back the next chapter. WTF?

Still, it reminded me a lot of Myron Bolitar with the intrigue and humor all fleshed out so well throughout. It had me cracking up, then getting pissed, then laughing again...

5/5, because fanfiction doesn't get much better than this. I've given 5/5s to stories with half this professional style, though they usually have better endings....

On chapter 16 at the moment, and loving every second of it. I don't know much about the Marvel Universe, but hey, that's what wikipedia is for. Truly one of the best written fics I've seen since I started reading fanfic. Thanks for the rec, Hashasheen.

Great story. Definitely the best Marvel fanfic I've read. Thanks for finding this gem.
