Look at the name, it should be obvious.
The Trickster has been one of my favorite recurring characters on Supernatural and I really liked that they added more depth to his character while giving him a backstory.

I missed the first 20 minutes, but the CSI: Miami spoof had me rolling.

I laughed my ass off at the opening credits, and especially during the herpes commercial. :p

Please don't get me started on the herpes commercial. I think I actually stopped breathing. And I loved the parody of Grey's Anatomy. Especially that ridiculous, generic, pop music that they played during Dean's operation. And Dr. RandomGirl slapping Sam every five minutes.

At least the trickster makes sense now. I simply hated the "got too much power, I think I'll be a sadistic bully to all the people who can't fight back" view of the character. The scene with the KITT car was awesome - I half-expected Dean to burst into tears.

Great episode. I liked that they were able to both entertain and close a possible plot hole with the trickster. It's good to see the writers look to past seasons and question if anything can fuck up current plot lines. They obviously saw a possible fuck up with the Trickster (the fact that he's supposed to be a god), and cleaned it up well. Sam seemed to get gipped on most of the sitcoms and in the past three episodes really.

    So far he has been:

    Beaten up by Ghandi
Beaten up by Paris Hilton (who hit him in the nuts I believe)
    Got Gonorrhea
Got hit in the nuts by a heavy mallet ball thing
Got Herpes (since they had to play the roles), or at least had to act like it
    Got turned into a car

I guess that's payback for starting the apocalypse.

Trickster is one of my favorite characters as well, he's fucking awesome.

The TV shows inside a TV show was amusing. For a moment I actually considered the idea that he was god. But the anger he showed at Castiel kinda put a quick end to that thought.

    All in all EPIC episode.

Nothing really puts it better than this.

I actually had the exact same thought, but then also dismissed it for similar reasons.

Oh so true. As soon as I saw him do the genital herpes commerical, I immediately thought about him getting the "Clap" previously, and I'm wondering how close he was to getting some kind of demon-HIV from Ruby... Nice one, writers.

This episode was fucking phenomenal. The Trickster was up there as my favourite Supernatural villian, but now he's reached a whole new level of badass - mostly because his dicking around with Sam back in Mystery Spot makes more sense now! Again - nice one, writers.

The sitcom opening, Sam's little CSI impersonation, the entirety of Dr Sexy, MD and many, many more... this was just a great watch.

Trickster is now Gabriel the Arch-Angel. While I appreciated the backstory and the level taken in badass, Dean was right. Dude was too whiny.

As usual the Trickster never dissapoints, mystery spot still being one of my favorite episodes.

"We have guns and we will hunt you down..."

That girl - Becky? - leaves me feeling squicked. I've never met a celebrity that I was crushing on, so I don't have that horrifying memory. If I unexpectedly ran into Stephen King, I suspect I'd humiliate myself for all time.

I had to miss large chunks of this episode as always. My family always *needs* me on Thursday nights. I'll catch it on Youtube tomorrow.

I KNOW! I'm pretty sure that if I met Terry Pratchett, I would just scream out loud at random intervals for five minutes before passing out.

And I just feel that I should mention that Demian and Barnes were based off of two mods from the TWoP forums.

And another mention: MARK SHEPPARD AS CROWLEY!!!! I can't wait!

Wow - that episode was hilarious, lots of in-jokes and the like. So many good quotes...
"There's no such thing as a Croatoan Virus... down there. Yeah, you should really see a doctor."
"We have guns and we will find you."
"I don't think the Benders made meatsuits... just scarves."

    Fucking hilarious.

This episode was hilarious, and it's great how Kripke managed to introduce the Colt into the storyline so seamlessly. Hopefully the hunt for the Colt won't take more than an episode or two, and the main plot can continue.

Am I the only person who's thinking that Lucifer will vacate his current vessel and the only way to kill him will be if Sam says "the big yes" to Lucifer and Dean then shoots Sam with the Colt? It's plausible considering that Kripke said he wants to end the series at Season 5. Although he did say that he may only end the main plot this season and start a whole new one next season.

I'm afraid that Sam might try some sort of sacrifice/suicide thing. Bobby showed that you can kill the demon without killing the host (S5,ep1.) Moreover, he proved that the host can take effective action against the demon while being possessed. Maybe Kripke will have them use the Colt in an almost lethal shot into Lucifer's Vessel.

Not sure if the Colt works the same way as the knife. From what we've seen the Colt looks to be much more powerful than that knife. The Knife doesn't work on larger demons but the colt does. I think no matter what is done the colt kills the person possessed along with the demon.
