Game looks like fun. 2142 is slowly losing it's appeal, and while I haven't played the first one yet (yeah, I know, way behind), I will probably get this - or the first - during Christmas.

EDIT: Actually, given the large amount of people who have the first and the second, which one would be better to get? 4 or 6?

If you have an Xbox 360 or a PS3, then get MW2. Most of the fanbase has already moved on to the sixth one. If you have a PC, then just avoid both and get a better game like Left 4 Dead 2.

Showing us you either suck at shooters or haven't played MW2 yet.

For my nukes ya I camped. But then again I'm a camper.

    I'm the guy you hate.

I'm that guy who finds a vantage point that can cover three separate areas. I'm the guy who sees you no matter how sneaky you think you are, and who try as you might, cannot kill.

    Ya, I'm that guy.

I play Domination exclusively, and I hate the whole flag capture dance. I don't like capping a flag and losing the one we got just before that.

Capping flags is why god invented teammates.

I camp flags. You cap it, I camp it, we don't lose it. We win.

My question is this. Loadouts anybody?

    ACR - ACOG
    Thumper x2
    Semtex & Flash x2
Scavenger Pro (Just a more polite of saying unlimited ammo)
    Stopping Power Pro
    Ninja Pro
    Painkiller

    Lol you dick.

I haven't got the time, the funds, or the fast internet connection to play multiplayer at my leisure. Been having to mooch off of my married friends 360 when I do have the time. I suck, but started to show improvement the last few rounds I played. I usually play with the SCAR, but I really haven't had the opportunity to try some of the others.

Loved the campaign. I'll probably buy the game anyways just for the sheer replayability of the campaign. The other missions are a nice bonus too.

I've played competitive CounterStrike 1.6 for around 4 years. I've made it to CAL-M season 23 and CAL-P season 24 if that means anything to you (I'm probably better than 90% of PC FPS players in the US.) I have played MW2 on the Xbox 360 at a friend's house and I enjoyed it very much, but I heard some bad things about MW2's multiplayer on the PC. It might be good, but the lack of dedicated servers made me stray away from buying it for the PC.

Well, shit sucks for me right now, (no job = no money for the internet = no multiplayer unless Im visiting my parents. Im posting on my psp from the local McDonalds wireless... D: ) so I havent been able to play as much as I'd like. But I did get to level 40. My standard load out is...

MP5K and Glock 18, Bling Pro (silencer, red dot for both), cold blooded pro, and ninja pro and painkiller.

    or...

FAMAS Holographic and Stinger, Scavenger Pro, Stopping power pro, Commando Pro and painkiller.

Kick a lot of ass. My highest streak so far has been 8, though my highest scoring game has been 32. With 23 deaths. >_>

Gamestop has a trade in specialty, trade in any 2 games on the list and save $40, so I went to trade in two games and got my $40 off. Cashier messed up on the transaction, so I saw the charge was only 8.99 so I signed and left pretty quickly.

I love PC gaming, I really do. However I hate PC gamers.

Was playing today, and noticed an awful lot of lvl 70 players who most definitely did not play like they had earned it. Quick google search revealed this.

    I despise these jackasses =/.

    Question

Red Dot and Holographic Sight. Difference?

Holographic sight just has a bigger dot, or what?

Holographic has a bigger dot, allows for more precise aiming I guess as it has a small reticle in the centre just so you can', well, have les of a chance of missing those stationary headshots, allowing for recoil of course.

I prefer the Holographic, just effort to get it with some guns particularly when you're on an awful team.

    @BsuperB - Thanks.

    For Normal:

    ACR - Holographic Sight
    Javelin
    Frag + Stun x2
Scavenger Pro (There's a lot of enemies, but not enough bullets)
    Stopping Power Pro
Commando Pro - I like jumping off things..and not dying.
    Final Stand

Anybody found any unique, random loadouts that are actually pretty good?

There was a guy running around with Model 1887 Akimbo. Using, I think, Lightweight Pro. The guy was getting 30+ Kills each game.

Gonna try it out, but with Ranger instead.

Primary weapon doesnt matter really for this one, but you need a pistol with a tactical knife attached.
    Frag + Smoke
    Marathon Pro
    Lightweight Pro
    Commando Pro
    Painkiller
    Slashy slashy!

Or, use a Thumper with Scavenger Pro and Danger Close. Thats fun too.

Okay I've just started to play this game and don't have any friends online yet so I was wondering if any of you are European and played this on the computer.
And if so I was wondering if someone would like to sometime play a game with me.

Just PM me if you're interested.

(Didn't want to necro but didn't want to make a new thread for this either, sorry)

G18 akimbo's are pretty damn nice if you have lightweight and marathon on. Get a Riot Shield as primary and your back is protected too.
