I'm sorry, but what the fuck??.

I love Cheadle: awesome actor, and one of the most humble people in Hollywood. But I'm all about continuity in movies, and having to re-cast really pisses me off (e.g. The Dark Knight and Maggie Gyllenhal). That being said: who the fuck are you and where do you get off, Howard? He can only claim 'Crash' and 'Hustle & Flow' (an ensemble cast that overshadowed him and a stereotypical black movie, respectively), but the rest of his career is littered with fail. Yet despite that, and his relatively minor role in Iron Man 1, he earned more than Downey, Jr., Jeff 'The Dude' Bridges, AND Gwyneth "I-wore-5-inch-"fuck-me-over-the-desk"-heels-throughout-this-entire-movie' Paltrow??

In conclusion: Fuck you, Terrance Howard, for ruining my continuity over some diva shit that you haven't earned, for a role that wouldn't require an academy award-winning performance.

Other than that, I'm stoked for May 7th.

 

It was announced months ago that Terrance Howard was being replaced.

 

Some of us aren't as quick on the uptake. Or rather, some of us don't really pay attention to these things until later; after everyone else and their grandma knows.

Also, I would gladly take her up on the offer her heels provide.

 

Ironman reminds me of Batman.

Must be the rich guy+fancy superhero suit+fighting crime motif.


Definitely pumped for the sequel, though.

 

It would remind you of Batman even more, if they hadn't made Jarvis an AI/House Computer. Still... always loved Iron Man and very pleased to hear about this next one coming up.
