It's probably easier when you have the blueprints for the thing.

Stark never released the info on how to make the thing did he?

Hard to say. The chest device was a smaller design of something else that they mentioned was a flop, perhaps Whiplash either stole/they did release the blueprints.

He did make the first one out of scavenged scraps in a basic work shop, its not out of the realm of possibly to some one to do the same. I know he is a genius but the other person only has to copy it not invent it.

Oh, yeah. Forgot about Black Widow. At least that explains how they're going to get the blueprints for the chest device.

Something about that chick is weird - maybe that she doesn't puke when she's around pervy old dudes like Woody Allen? - but she is certainly fine, with a righteous set of pumpkin tits to boot. That picture could use a couple arrows with the caption "Cock Goes Here," just for the fun of it.

I hope I'm remembering my Marvel Universe correctly, but didn't The Black Widow have a thing for Spider-Man back in the day? Put Scarlett Johansson in the next Spider-Man movie and watch (a) the revenues and ratings skyrocket, and (b) Spider-Man drop Mary Jane like a toilet seat at a Texaco station. Seriously. Marvel dudes? Make it so.

    Nah, that was Black Cat:

if they found someone that they could truss up to look like her, there'd be a lot of movie theater arrests: (a) for the high amount of public indecency via theater masturbation, and (b) the inevitable outbreak of fights when some guy...ah..."misfires" into the guy in front's bucket o' popcorn.

Whatever, man. I've only dealt with abnormally even-tempered mawfuckers working behind concession stands; if you think they didn't get that way by fucking with the unpackaged food as a last laugh, well...enjoy that "flavored" frosty and extra "spicy" nacho cheese, my friend. I'll stick with Twizzlers.

At least my scenario gives you someone to punch in the face.

Bumped for great justice after seeing imposter thread. Plus with a link to the new trailer to further protect me from cries of necroism.

The trailer does look awesome... but is it me or does Whiplash look like the dumbest villain ever? All it takes is a single cop with a gun and it's good game. Hopefully a villain with a higher pedigree - like the Mandarin - will make an appearance. Or since Justin Hammer is confirmed for the movie, perhaps his Final Fantasy Black Mage daughter will pop up.

The last 7 seconds when he puts on the new suit is fucking awesome.

    Epic trailer is epic.

It looks like Whiplash is going to be dangerous more by virtue of copying Stark's tech to make a bunch of Iron Man clones than as a one-on-one threat.

Saw this today, and it has to be said, awesome movie was awesome. Cheadle was better as Rhodes than Howard imo, and the action scenes were predictably good. Whiplash was hilarious: his personality consisted of drinking vodka neat and owning a parrot. Black Widow was there purely for fanservice and a minute of badass action, and it dragged a little in the middle. Other than that, it was basically everything good about the first, then pumped up to be even cooler.

Oh, and there's a post-credits scene. Stay for it...

    EDIT: Nick Fury is :awesome

Seeing it for miss Scarlett Johansson: one of the few chicks I'd switch to the other side for. Throw in a scene with scantily clad Scarlett in imax; it would be pure win in my book!

We waited for the bit after the end-credits and were the only ones in a HUGE theatre. Bad times for them, I suppose.

Have to say, I loved this film. I can't work out if I liked it more than the first one, considering I hadn't watched the first one again after its initial release, but regardless, they're both brilliant.

It was a good action movie, but most of the characters felt underused to me, specially Black Widow, who was just basically standing there, and Whiplash.

I wished a bit more character development, but I loved the action equences. Also, enjoyed the little nods at Thor and Cap.
