You can sleep with...damn spoilers. If you haven't gotten past the Urn of Sacred Ashes quest don't read. Actually don't read if you haven't gotten past the Landsmeet.

Alistair is going to be king (if you bother making him such) and you can sleep with him and be his queen (only human noble) or mistress (not restricted by origin).

Also. It is more than a threesome in Denerim. It's a foursome... if you do it right.

I'm curious about this Blood Mage/Arcane Warrior Build. Exactly what gear and stats are we shoving everything in? Just finished my first play through of the game as a dualies warrior; so magic seems nice this time round.

Uhmm...I've been out of time the last few weeks to play, so I still have start as a real arcane mage, but when I unlock the specialization I started using it with Morrigan with her usual magic/willpower build. The first skill will make your equip required str use magic insead, so you can use even massive armor if you want to

I for one, started the battle unleashing all kinds all my heavy magic to clean the field while using mage equips, then changing to my juggernault+ arcane warrior sword when she would run out of mana.

Did more dmg than my rogue ever could.

So you switched from robe to armor in the middle of a fight?

I dunno about you; but every time I do that it just feels like cheating to me. >_>

Plus; it takes away from the game if I have to keep switching to the inventory.

I've played an AW, truly the most OP class.

The way I played was stat wise I pumped magic, items and the fade bonuses gave me enough in other stats, I think I actually spent maybe 4 points outside magic stat.

Spell wise I started with cone of cold/fireball then picked up, arcane armor/rock armor once I hit 7 and went for miasma as well.

Went for massive armor, the wardens keep stuff ended up being the best(items that say +stamina boost mana too, plus they really look the part of being the leader ). with a shield and the AW sword from ashes quest.

Generally lead off with some of your sustained up leaving enough mana to cast your aoe of choice, then turn on the rest(combat magic always being in this group because of the fatigue) and then just hammer with auto-attack stuff, with the magic stat you'll have flame weapon hits pretty hard.

At level 14 when you get blood mage, blood wound is pretty much the nail in the coffin.

Most things will only be able to do one damage a hit, and on the odd chance they can actually hurt you, your magic stat is so high that even the lowest level healing poultice is OP. (The merchant at the dalish camp has unlimited supply of the root to make them)

All in all a pretty simple class and not that exciting once you get over the thrill of being invincible.

Is the dragon at the Ruined Temple supposed to just sit there and take the damage or is just a glitch, and if it's a glitch, is it one that everyone has or just some unlucky people?

Glitch, the High Dragon is meant to be one of the better fights, I think it's caused by the Dragon landing somewhere it can't move properly.

So can the glitch be fixed somehow? You know like with a mod or something because I don't really wana fight a dragon that's just sitting there. That kinda takes the fun out of things.

DId you see and just start throwing spells at it while its on the rock? If so; that might be your problem.

You're supposed to get a horn off Kolgrim if you don't do as he asked (yeah I avoid spoilers bitch); and it should come down if you /use that.

Strange, even if you use spells on it from a long range it should immediately swoop down and start attacking. The spell use shouldn't attribute to the dragon not attacking.

I got the horn and blew it outside of the building that hold the Urn of Sacred Ashed. The dragon swoops down to where I am and just does nothing. I attack and it doesn't do jack shit.

Been playing this since Christmas, I must say that the characters are fantastic, especially the voice acting, it almost makes you care what happens to them. I was however kind of disappointed by the world, after Oblivion it seems awfully restricting and the graphics don't exactly make up for it. It is however good fun and I find myself quite enjoying having to plan out attacks and having actual choices.

    /me nods

Yeah the tactical aspect to the game is fantastic. Although not much tactics are needed to just cast inferno before they see you then clean up with fireball + party.

I haven't actually played in a long while, I think I will now.

    Oh yeah:
Anybody else find that fight with the troll at the tower hard?

I finally realized that he is rather dumb, so I got him to attack the archer then set everybody else to attack while I manually sidestepped around the room with archer(taking no damage).

What level was everyone when they fought Jarvia? I'm about lvl 12, Mage no specialization as of yet and I'm getting raped...

    Moi.

It looks really good especially since it holds a lot of potential for revealing more about The Grey Wardens.

I hit that gong after I betrayed the crazy dude on the quest and the dragon landed nearby and proceeded to kick the shit out of me. So maybe you`re unlucky?

I tried to start the game again this holiday, but I got so many games unfinished that I felt guilty playing it. Maybe I will try the game again after I finish The Last Remnant and Star Ocean TLH(That is, if I can get past the horrible voice acting on the last one)

Dunno if this is old news or not, but Return to Ostagar was delayed. Don't think a new date has been revealed.
