It's out right now actually. It got announced that they were delaying it until January 5th sometime after Christmas.

Are you sure? I thought it was old because of the number of pages in the thread, but apparently the post was made ~10 hours ago:

I was in the 16-18's. I did Orzamaar last, however.

Hmmm. That might help. What team did you go in with?

Delayed for the expansion, maybe? Hopefully there'll be news on Return to Ostigar soon.

This is what pisses me off about the new generation games. I like to play games on the console because they are, usually, bug free and with the complete story. That said, I would like to rebuild the grey wardens during the main game, not on a expansion lauched afterwards.

@Sarah: It's was three and a half hours between your post and the first post about a potential expansion. Thus, there's not much chance Bioware's released any new information in that time. 0_o

@NightSpy: As long as the expansion isn't too expensive (or it's so huge it might as well be its own game), I wouldn't complain. Really the game NEEDS an expansion, as the world isn't nearly as big as Oblivion; but I wouldn't say it's an incomplete game. You do a LOT to get to the top, and playing on anything past Normal is HARD.

On the note of the game size, I have to rant about the way they chose to create the world. There just aren't enough dungeons that you 'can' go in, but don't have to for the story line. It's all really linear; that's what I mean. You do the beginning, you in some way end up with Alistair's sugar daddy Duncan, and then you go about the 'main quest'. Everything else is really useless, quite skill dependent, or nothing but stupid, petty collection quests.

Meh actually I got some info. Apparently you can only have one companion from the original game join you which seems really lame. There's speculation that its
    Oghren
(by the gods I hope not I loathe him). Game beginning is based of origin ending and savegame file.

Alistair seemed to be king but this is "supposedly" because the save game file had him king and both him and the warden lived. If you choose the sacrifice ending your end up being an Orlesian Grey Warden Commander.

And its estimated to be about 15 hours long. Which means its more likely to be 10 hours long knowing how Bio likes to drag time out for DLC.

@TheHeir: True it is pretty much long fetch sidequests getting the army until you get to the very end of the game.

Sweet, I wonder if we'll catch a glimpse of:

    Morrigan and the God-baby.

Just watched the video at: http://dragonage.bioware.com/awakening and squealed fanboyishly.

And lol'd at the Talking Darkspawn.

So right; rolling off the topic of the expansions and add-ons.

I recently rolled a human 2h warrior kay, the thing is this guy hits like a retard. I mean he misses like 50% of his swings after taking over 9000 hours to swing in the first place.

And he hits like a girl after i popped everything into str. AT the moment I just got out of Lothering. Does it get better?

I've only done mage and rogue so apart from my tank ally I don't know much about building warriors. I'd recommend keeping precision striking ability on (it's a sustained skill) until you get indomitable. That should help your hit %. Dunno what your dex. is, but ~20 should be all you need - that could help some, but you prolly only need do enough in here to get the skills you want.

2 Handers suck hard at the beginning. >_> If you're playing on PC I suggest you get a combat tweaks or a respec mod. If not well...you're SOL.
