I'll admit that it would take a blind monkey not to see Dollhouse's cancellation coming. But hey - we got 26 episodes all in all, so there's that.

Both great episodes. I don't think there's much Dollhouse can do to have its cancellation reversed though. Unless it decides to become a crime/hospital drama or reality show anyway.

Every time I see the guy who plays Victor act, I'm impressed. He has to play Topher in the sixth episode. Played him to perfection. Hope I see him elsewhere after this.

Yeah, the guy who plays Victor deserves his own one man show!

And Summer Glau was pretty great. Nice and evil, complete with nerd wuv with Topher.

Pretty impressive set of episodes, I think. Enver (the Victor guy) was truly impressive, and funny as well.

    Episode 7 was nice.

Fuck Adele. Seriously. Just went I was starting to become slightly sympathetic to her 'cause she seemed to come off wonderfully when judged against other Rossum administrative personnel.

The 3 months thing seemed rushed. Can't help that I guess.

And we get ever closer to the world in episode 13.

Waiting for the next episode to finish dling. Echo wasn't bad, this time round.

    Oh, and Dubai dollhouse. Fuck.

Totally agree with Adelle. Here's hoping she gets redeemed when she realises that she helped along the freaking apocalypse, or gets offed by Echo - we never did see the end of the scene in Epitaph One where Echo points the gun at her and cocks it...

    And Episode 8...

Was fantastic. I always a soft spot for Alpha episodes, and this one was no exception. Chaos, chaos and more chaos - good ol' Alpha. And a nice open ending too, complete with the nightmarish possibility of living inside of somebody else's head with another 40-odd killers. Poor Paul...

I've always thought it was Alpha's brain that made all the personalities crazy, its the only way I can think of to explain the difference between Alpha and Echo/Omega. Paul might end up on the crazy side..

It took me a while to warm up to Dollhouse, but the last few episodes have been really good.

Figures the show is finally hitting its stride after its cancellation has already been announced. At least it looks like we may get an epic season/series ender.

    I don't remember episode 9 after watching 10.

At first, I was like "what the fuck crawled up Adelle's cunt and died?" And then at the end I was like :awesome

    Holy Fucking Shit.

I saw Bennet's death coming - who didn't? Anyway, Whiskey getting sleeper'd and blasting her brains out? Not a fucking clue.

And Boyd - holy fucking shit. As contrived as the explanation of all this might end up being, it doesn't change the fact I was shocked as hell by the end of the episode, nor that the fact that Dollhouse is done in two episodes has made this season a rollercoaster of sorts - I have no doubt that if a 3rd season was secured, everything might be a little drawn out, and the Holy Shits are fewer and far in between. But still, loving it.

This about sums my thoughts up as well. My only complaint is that it does feel a bit rushed - would've preferred to not have the two or three fillers at the start of the season. Nevertheless, can't wait for next week.

All I have to say after watching the latest episode is this:

    Woah.

I still can't believe they fucking canceled this show, but at least it's heading towards an awesome ending.

    Fucking awesome episode.
Funny about Boyd, though. Looking back at all the things he's been through in the show, so far, it's interesting to think of it as he's been the boss the whole time. Least we know how Rossam got to Whiskey.

I felt like I needed to go watch all of Season One+beginning Season Two over again after the Boyd reveal. Geez.

I don't think there will be many, if any, hints that Boyd was the big bad. I read somewhere that they only decided that he was the big bad at the start of the second season.

Not because he's bad, but because I saw his relationship with Echo/Caroline differently afterwards. Even if it wasn't written plot-wise until Second Season, it dramatically changed how I viewed the character interaction and the show itself. Felt like I needed a fresh view. : )

Well then, that sounds like a pretty good idea. Is season one out on DVD, do you know?

I'm sure enough fanwanking could come up with some 'reasonable' deductions - maybe he was behind the whole events of Target, the second episode? Maybe there were all kinds of tests along the way to try to get Echo to secrete those spinal fluid things that made her so important... Or something.

As for the previous episode, I found it not to be my favourite of the season, which is a shame because the events in it could've made it a spectacle instead a somewhat, pardon the pun, 'hollow' mess. Epitaph Two, on the other hand, may just rock as much as Epitaph One.
