So it looks like the movie Push will be getting a TV series here shortly and with any luck will finally put Heroes out of its misery.

I hope this succeeds, I actually thought Push was a pretty good movie with a lot of potential for a great television show if they do it right.

Never heard of the movie, but if the trailer is anything like the full movie it's worth watching.

That said, I lost all respect for Dakota Fanning after I found out she was on New Moon.

 

I have to agree with the article - Push was a vastly underrated movie. The storyline, background, characters, etc. all have the right kind of potential for an extremely good TV series.

Like Krogan, I hope this succeeds.

I lost track of the thousand and one plot lines of Heroes after season one. They just need to stay away from that fail and they could have something pretty damn good on their hands. Also Nightspy if she was any older I might feel the same way about her but shes what fifteen now? They offer her a chance to star in one of those multi-mega franchise flicks at that age and a good role at that I can't really begrudge her for taking the offer.

 

God I hope they make this sfm. I liked the movie and the ending was excellent and unexpected. If this comes to pass maybe they can finally kill Heroes. That show is seriously holding some great actors hostage.

Besides, she was already known as a great actress since she was little(Or at least I think so). No need to sell herself to the evil side.

To stay on topic: Screenwriter David Hayter, who penned Watchmen and two of the X-Men movies, will write the pilot and produce the series.

Still its like forty million dollars at age fifteen for half an hours work in a movie that despite some hate is generally going to do nothing but boost her career even more. As I said I can't really begrudge her that.

Also I so very much hope your right Water Mage that would be great to see that clusterfuck finally get shot down.

Exactly what my reaction was. Well, it was after I finished cleaning myself up after having heard about this.

 

I think it really depends, the male lead I could see potentially getting involved in this considering hes about a B list but Dakota is iffy, shes getting fairly big time so she might diva out over stepping down to TV.

 

I doubt they would use the same actors.

Might do something like Stargate did, same characters different actors.

My guess is that it will have the characters just trying to stay hidden and attempting to have a real life.
Division wouldnt just stop all the hunting they have done. Kira is still Patient zero.

Of course they always could just use new characters and a new story.

 

Maybe this will fill the empty space Dollhouse left me.
