Aion. It's one massive troll fest, and I love every bit of it. The mods are either Korean, or just don't give a shit, so I say pretty much whatever I want.

But if you want a thriving online community, yeah, it's not so great.

 

My thoughts? The whole thing is retarded, if you have a problem with something that someone might say to your 7 year old kid while he's playing games that are quite specifically rated T for teens or higher don't let him play the damn game. People like this need to be beaten repeatedly, its no ones fault but their own that they bought a game for their kid without knowing anything about it and then completely stepped out of the picture until they heard something that offended their sensitive little ears.

 

To be fair, our Xbox is finally Gold, simply for Halo 3 for the kids to play my profile with ONLY their cousins, I'm the only one that goes online to play the games Gamefly sends, and the language coming through the speakers is fucking insane no matter what your age. And hell it's mostly FROM kids under 15.

Lol I know man I have Xbox Live, but my point still stands, you didn't want your kids to hear that so you stepped in and corrected the situation, bada boom problem solved. These people buy their kids whatever game they want and leave them completely and totally unattended while playing and then get all butthurt when the runts pick up a few new words. The way I see it its very simple if you don't like what you hear from a game then step in and control the situation like you did, however if they aren't willing to do that then they need to shut the hell up and stop trying to fuck things up for the rest of us.

 

I'd be almost tempted to have it mandated everybody that plays live 15 and under disable voice. There, problem solved.

 

Or rather, make it a rule that no kids are allowed to play online if they are under 15.

And when the annoying idiots start complaining, just tell them they're breaking LIVE rules by letting their kids play.

You know, the kind of rule that isn't enforced, and only exists to irritate the people who want to cause trouble.

 

Yeah, I passcoded my profile so they couldn't log into it when I'm not there, and they don't go online period without me being in the house save for the DS's, which have shitty hackerific online play anyway.

I just don't get how parents can give like no supervision for gaming, if my kids talked like even a few of the idiots I hear on Live, I'd beat that ass.

I once knew a guy that apparently hospitalised someone with a Playstation controller.

 

Apparently this kids' mother got extremely angry that I was talking shit to her while her kid was being a dipshit. I'm pretty sure it was a death threat when I said I would rape her and hide the body. I don't know.

 

Works just fine for me, I have no problems with that.

 

This is why I love me some PC gamin'. I only play games that have player-run servers, and then only on servers where either I have admin or I know the admins. I generally don't play games to have to put up with some 12 year old whining about how anyone who kills him is a xyz. Quick /ban and the problem is solved.

Then again, one wonders is the AP just discovered online gaming. I mean, this stuff has been going on since modems first allowed idiots to broadcast their stupidity to others anonymously.

 

I cannot hear them over how awesome my mute button is. Then again some nights they mute me. It's like a never ending circle.
