I'm not sure what I think about these, but some of the jacket covers are hilarious. China may not be as weird as Japan, but its bootleg industry is just bizarre.

 

And yet, seeing Harry riding a giant T-Rex actually made me want to read the synopsis.

So...batshit insane fanfics, given really weird covers and then sold, presumably making a ton of cash? It's different, I'll give them that.

Actually, to be fair, some of them were fairly standard (bad) fanfictions. It's just the fact people are making money off them that's unusual.
