I agree.

I loved playing Red back when I was 10, but even then I grew tired of beating the game over and over. I'd be more interested in the game if it transitioned to a console version. 3D battles like the show, traveling over the continent, ridin on a Lapras doin flips and shit.

I just don't have the need or money to buy the same game I had when I was 10. Mario games evolved why can't Pokemon?

 

Gen 5 starter silhouettes revealed.

The left one looks gay as shit but I'll withhold judgement.

Top one looks like a cross between Chikorita and Turtwig. Right one looks like a Wooper or Quagsire. And the left one looks like a Charmander reject. :/

They better have some awesome looking evolutions.

 

When I saw the second gen starters I raged. Same with 3rd and 4th. I like them all now except torchic. Point is, they'll grow on you pretty fast.

 

Are you fucking serious? Cyndaquil and Totodile were ALWAYS awesome. Chikorita not as much.

I'll bank on Grass duck on the left, Water otter/squirrel thingie on the left, fire pig/rabbit in the middle.

There have been a bajillion since last night.

My first impression was fire on the left, Grass in the middle and water on the right. Now though I'm thinking water in the middle. Not sure about the other two.

I hope I'm wrong and we'll get a water bear pokemon on the right.

As many people have pointed out before me, it's likely the the order will be grass, fire, water, because they tend to release them in pokedex order.

I think the supposed grass starter is fine, but the other two look gay.

I have always been partial to the water starter, blastoise being my favorite pokemon of all time. I want an excellent water starter. Something that looks, pardon the fanboy lingo, cool. I would love to see a serpentine or sharklike starter, but not gay like sharpedo.

Other tidbits: The region's JP name is "Isshu", and the protagonists are apparently older.

EDIT: Or, it's another fake that has fooled both Serebii and PokeBeach. I doubt it - only a real scan could have a chick with THAT hair...

 

So yeah. I totally called the pig. I was also hopeful for an otter for the water type, but to call that thing an otter....

Also, I can confirm that the new region's name is indeed Isshu, and that it's apparently very far away from Johto, Kanto, and the rest, possibly far enough that the only access possible is by plane or ship.

And the three starters are sorta ghey.
