Anybody else notice/care that Latias got bumped up to the Uber tier a few days back? Dragons are getting bumped up a lot, for sure. Will this affect anyone? *shameless scouting*

Also, FUCK at item clause. My team on Shoddy runs like 4x lefties at the moment; dunno how I'm gonna survive, especially seeing as I only really know the items from third gen and down (learnt what life orb was/did the other day, though). Focus Sash is also pretty bomb, but every other item is an unknown. Anyone feeling like informing me on what's new and good in the world of items/abilities?

 

Latias with Soul dew is Uber. Without Soul dew I'm pretty sure it's OU.

 

http://www.smogon.com/dp/pokemon/latias gives no OU set anymore, and doesn't even mention it was once there. They only changed it less than a week ago, I'm pretty sure.

The item list is almost completely useless, unless I feel like reading how every single piece of mail stops Trick, or give a crap which fossils make which Pokemon.

Maybe it's a stupid question, but is there going to be OHKO Clause?

 

Hey, Seratin, can you give us a notice for when to turn in our finalized teams.

 

You never know, you could have a few pokemon combinations that may shock other players and if shit does happen you just rely on crits.

I'd like to bring up the idea that once every single team has been registered, then the pokemon (not the movesets or the items) be published here in the public domain. Not so much because I don't trust people to try a switcheroo, but because as it would be too late to change it would give everyone a sort of ground base as to what the competition is and just in general see if there are any trends going into it. Plus, if it's the sort of tourney that is going to take place over a week or so, it would be nice to be able to make predictions and the like, and see what the upsets are.

I also agree to an earlier idea that says the first round or so is elimination, the secondary rounds are best of 3 and the semi-finals and finals are best of 5 games.

We've got 17 teams in as of now, and I'm seeing 45 yeses on the poll. Get crackin' people. Teams should be getting in to Seratin quickly.
