Looks pretty good actually. It also seems as if they decided to take elements from the other books and add it to the mix(Aragog and Hungarian Horntail).

 

That...actually looks kinda awesome. I haven't liked any of the games since PoA, so if they can make that work...

 

Harry looks like he has Downs, again, but the combat appears cool.

I've always said the only 2 Harry Potter games I'd play would be an FPS style adventure spanning a year, or a full out, massive MMORPG. This looks pretty win, though the combat does seem a bit static/linear but I'm sure that would be ironed out before the actual release. I am excited!

 

If they add in multiplayer I probably will end up buying this one.

That actually looks pretty fucking awesome to be honest,, I stopped playing the games a long time ago but out all of them that actually looks like it could be really fucking fun.

 

It looks good.. I just can't stand the sound the spells make. They sound like a raygun from a saturday cartoon.

When using the cruciatus curse it should be an unblockable spell that immediately knocks someone down (due to agonising pain). Fuck this "machine gun" bullshit.

Apart from the broom scene it seemed to be "Endless corridor shooter The Game!" Obviously most 3rd person cover shooters funnel you along corridors but it seemed rather obvious in this trailer that you're enclosed on all sides. The graphics weren't great and the enemies weren't particularly impressive looking. If they can't manage to make spell casting look more impressive than just aimlessly holding out a stick whilst PEW PEW laser light effects come out of it then I won't be picking it up.

 

Guess i'm the only one who thinks this looks pretty shit.

Would not buy.

Meh, all attempts at sticking to canon HP combat failed in the previous ones. I won't buy this, but it looks a lot less like shit than all the others.

They made crucio rapid fire and protego can apparently stop dragon fire.Ive never liked harry potter games. Had the first two and those put me off the rest
But i agree with Iztiak that this one looks less shitty than the previous games.

Although a MMORPG would be amazing, if done right

 

The game trailer does look better than the previous games in the series, though that doesn't really say much.

The only thing that I particularly liked in the trailer was the protego charm, it does have distinct similarities to canon. Other than that, all the other spells and curse have no resemblance whatsoever to canon. The story also seems to have been changed drastically.
