Seems okay. Voldemort stopping the Hogwarts Express is, for once, a logical additional scene. Here's hoping for a good finish to the series.

 

Pretty much this. Nothing exactly leaped out as being great, but nothing looked particularly bad.
Although it did look like Voldemort was about to attack the Hogwarts Express. That...would be rather cool. Also, it looks like Harry is actually going to acknowledge Ginny's presence in person before the epilogue, so at least that thread should play out better than the book.

 

I'm looking foward to seeing this, I wonder if the trailer is only for the first half of the movie or both. I'm going to have to re-read the book, I can't remember Ron saying Harry has no family, but it's been a since I read it.

Does anyone else read the books again before going to see the movies? I bet a lot do.

I'm guessing it's for both parts, since it's got shots from Gringotts and the final battle (well, unless they've randomly inserted another dragon and extra scenes at Hogwarts, always a possibility).

 

Well, normally the fact that movies from books always ending up deviating from them is a bad thing.

I think that in this case it could be a really good thing. I'm keen to see some cool magic stuff tbh, since the storyline is universally average.

 

The book did not have enough fighting, come on it was meant to be a war! It was like one of those fantasy quest novels, find the items to save the world and you live happily ever after- I was expecting more from the book, and now I'm expecting more from the movies.

 

Yawn. They should save their money and make a film of the Denarian Trilogy instead.

 

Or the Hero Trilogy :awesome

 

You never know, maybe for once changing things heavily from the book could pay off.
