if it was solely a battle of wills, than why was Naruto able to use his will to perform some attacks while the kyuubi took it like a bitch and didn't fight back? You mean to tell me the ninetailed fox has such a weak will that he can do nothing against the fifteen year old?

 

That's because the Kyuubi was controlling them like Shukaku and his sand.

Almost certainly on the first part, but I just don't see how having special chakra matters much when you're dead.

Seems like she's just an echo of Kushina rather than Kushina herself, similar to Minato's echo for when Naruto tried to release the Kyuubi the first time. Also, Minato is currently holidaying in the Shinigami's stomach, so I really don't think she's going to enjoy it there.

Honestly, in this part it could go either way. However I think it is Kushina, but depending on how you see the wording, it could go either way.

1 Way you could see it is Kushina's soul/spirit following Minato to the afterlife

A second way is Kushina's imprint could be disappearing just like Minato's.

Tbh, It really could go either way depending on how you look at it.

Maybe Madara forced Kushina to lose control of the Kyuubi and get taken over and what Minato sealed into Naruto was actually Kushina in Kyuubi form.

I'm happy with this chapter. Kushina does have a purpose, who knew.

 

Nor they have nine tails. He's demon who looks like fox, so there can be some changes. That said, this design really suck.

This seems to be the most reasonable explanantion to what happened in the last couple chapters. So the final seal that the Kyuubi got put in was the one the Rikudou sage used to make himself a jinchchuriki and seal away the Jyuubi?

Chapter was okay. I'm just glad the 'Overcome Kyuubi' arc is done and we can get some clarifications and the war soon.

Edit: I just hope Kushina doesn't turn out to be a descendant of the Rikudou sage or something. That 'new seal' business was ominous.

 

Yeah.... I really wish he never drew it, I liked the 'in the dark mysterious' Kyuubi better, where I can imagion how awesome he looks. Now he just looks..... stupid.

And I didn't really enjoy this chapter, but the reason for that is that I really didn't understand it. How is he using the Sage of the Six Paths whatever, did he finally take Kyuubi's chakra? and if he did how does Kyuubi still have some. And why doesn't he want to hurt the nine tails :/ I'm going to re-read the chapter, but at least were finally moving on

Now, will someone, someone with a different perspective on this, please for the love of God explain to me why Naruto doesn't think he's strong enough to beat Sasuke?

 

I think it's psychological problem. Naruto always saw Sasuke as better ninja than him. He was competing with him, but also felt that he must train much more to be better than Sasuke. After so many years of thinking that Sasuke is stronger, as long as Naruto will not beat him in fair fight, he will always see himself as weaker of two.

Of course next fight between these two will be epic and all that, but I think it would be funny, if Naruto beat Sasuke without breaking a sweat.
"How could you do it to me Sasuke? I was training so hard to become strong enough to beat you. But you... You are sooooooo weak!"

 

Agreed, I fail to see how Sasuke is even on the same level is Naruto. Sasuke couldnt beat Itachi when he was on his deathbed. Itachi who wasnt willing to face Jiraiya who was killed by Pain, Pain who killed by NARUTO!! Sure Pain himself said that if Jiraiya had known about the 6 paths of pain he probably would have won. But thats besides the point.

Sasuke even with Itachi's eyes still should not in any way, shape, or form be on the same level of power as Naruto.

Naruto has taken the rasengan to a level that not even Minato, Kakashi, or Jiraiya could take it. He is a better sage than Jiraiya. He has the power of the fox. He has an instant kill justu. Naruto has worked hard to get to the level where he is. He has proven himself superior to everyone he has faced. No one has shown the power or skill to defeat Naruto.

Sasuke on the other hand has had power up after power up every time you turn around. Sure before he faced Oroochimaru his skills were somewhat believable having studied under a Sannin, just like Naruto and Sakura. But since then he his skill and power have taken major jumps everytime he shows up. He has defeated no one. Itachi all but killed himself, Sasuke couldnt handle Bee, and it took everything he had to defeat Danzo.

Naruto doesnt seem to realize he has left Sasuke in the dust. And at the same time Sasuke doesnt understand just how far Naruto has advanced. Of course Sasuke has always considered himself unbeatable. Claiming he would kill Itachi and destroy Konoha and attacking the Kage summit, and then seriously believing he could defeat Kakashi when he could barely see.

 

Alright Rikudou Naruto!

I love it when characters pull Rikudou jutsu out of their asses.

As far as Kushina goes, I'm praying to God that she was the Kyuubi's jinchuuriki for all of ten minutes the night of Madara's attack. That's really the only explanation that makes any sense to me, especially given her statement this chapter of "I can only hold him down for a little while" or something to that extent.

Perhaps this was how they were able to subdue the Kyuubi long enough for Minato to split the chakra and perform his sealing.

 

I reckon Madara was controlling the Kyuubi when the Hokage was in the area, he stopped the Kyuubi by sealing it into Kushina, brought Kushina back to Kohona. Madara arrives again and somehow gets the Kyuubi out of of Kushina just after she gives birth, thus controlling it to attack Kohana. Minato seals kyuubi into Naruto.

Maybe that is where Madara got the jutsu to seal the bijuu into the statue from, from experimenting on Kushina when she had the nine tails in her.
