Time to shamelessly whore this awesome game again. CN's a nation/political simulator a group of DLPers has been playing for ages. You build a country, then occasionally our alliance and about 40 others will go fuck up some other guys. The wars are huge [we're talking thousands of people v. thousands here] and the sophistication of in-game politics is pretty much bananas.

We have our own alliance there which we have, irony-intended, named GOD. I started it with about 30 other DLPers back in Feb 2007 [yeah I'm talking seriously old school at this point]. Ego aside, we've made it into an absolute beast. We're literally the shit as far as that game goes, but we always have trouble recruiting. Most alliances in the game offer aid money to newbies/mass spam people with PMs to get new recruits and might grow by 100 members a year.

We're at 82. We don't offer money, lol. Our feeling has always been if it takes bribery to get new people, we don't fucking want them to begin with. And the ironic thing of it is, we send more money internally than any other alliance in the entire game - including alliances with 600+ members.

That said, we would like to expand so whore whore whore. You'll need a nation, and you'll need to sign up here.

Two disclaimers though, don't sign up if:

• You don't plan on giving it a try. CN can be kind of boring at first, it gets better when your nations better. Especially for war.

• You're expecting DLP 2.0. We have a lot of non-DLP members, probably about half the alliance, and they're frankly the shit. It's one of the best decisions we ever made - to take in non-DLPers.

Edit: After you post an application, go to "Edit my Nation", alliance affiliation -> Specify Other and punch in God Applicant. It'll keep people from spamming you with recruitment stuff & ensure we have valid reasons to attack anyone who attacks you.

EDIT: When you make your nation start off with taxes at 28%, government type set to democracy, Defcon 5, threat level low, team to maroon and war/peace preference set to "War is an option." All of these can be accessed from the Edit My Nation link on the left. Also, go to alliance affiliation, bring up the drop-down menu, scroll down to "Specify other" and type in GOD applicant. This will protect you from being raided/attacked.

Currency type doesn't have an effect on your nation, although personally I think Dongs are the greatest currency ever!

One more thing I should point out to those of you who are (thinking of) setting up nations.

On the menu on the left side go to "My Government Position" and set the second one to the first option, the third one to the second or third option and the fifth one to the second or third option.
