Lol, thanks. Main reason I won't go anywhere, ever. She takes care of me, has the same sense of humor, etc. But to be fair, she's awesome when she's awesome, but when she's a bitch, run.

    /wins thread

It's even lulzier when you consider this was a legitimate publication, made in order to protect the "Innocent Chinese Immigrant" from the American anger as we hunted for jap spies.

My wife and I have come to a nice arrangement. She keeps me from being a dick, even to her, and I make sure her pride doesn't get out of hand. Yet, the same as the above applies here. She takes care of me and vice versa, so I understand your sentiments.

Just wish I could get away with the occasional feminist declaration, I'm pretty good with them. :p.

    EDIT:
I don't think you had to explain why its so funny, vlad.

    I didn't explain why it's funny.

I explained why it's even more winsome than it is at first and second glance - you have to read the text to fully appreciate what's going on here, which is something most people aren't inclined to do.

All of what you said could be inferred from just the picture without reading the article. Try to give DLP'ers some credit. Most aren't on your level(I'm not being sarcastic here), but they're pretty bright group.

It's nothing about intelligence, and everything to do with assuming something so fucking ridiculous has to be inspired from something like The Onion*. It's a fair enough note to point out this was a legitimate attempt to ease fears, and not just retrolulz.

    * except funny

That was pretty golden there Vlad.

Even though you are having fun misunderstanding 7ate9, I actually agree with him. This was pretty obviously real, didn't really need to be explained. :p

Ok, so I know I'm way behind on this, but Azriphale's post involving the Lost cat made me laugh harder than anything else I'd ever seen on the internet. Good lord.

A man in a gorilla suit was planned? Boy did that kid get lucky. Seriously - what the hell was the mom thinking when she ordered a man in a gorilla suit?

That was exactly what I was wondering. Definitely worked out much better for the kid this way.

Somebody in the planning office of the agency must of taken pity on the kid, god bless'em.

You'd think when she got there at the school the stripper would check to make sure she had the right address and person. But then again, women strippers aren't known for thinking rationally.

The man in a gorilla is clearly an elaborate scheme in order to not get a bad reputation around the neighborhood. The brain behind it all is obviously the father whom organized it and forced his wife to go along with it.

And seeing as the AoC there is coincidentally 16, the birthday boy surely had a day to remember.

Looking at that article...pretty fucking lulzy.

Oh, what a tragedy, the boy's idiot mother ordered up some gorilla-man and he got a hot police-stripper instead.

    Oh the humanity!

I'd choose the hot stripper over the guerrilla any fucking day. Guerrilla sounds humiliating.

Depending on how old the kid is, this could make him the coolest kid in school.
