New updates coming in with some new Pokemon and the revelation of a chick professor for once. Serebii won't let me copy the scans here, so just head to Serebii.net to check it out. Among the new Pokemon? A chinchilla, a pigeon, a... pink thing and a gear(s) Pokemon.

Bronzemite looks awesome. I want one. The pink thing will have massive HP, I could nearly guarantee it.

 

From the Corocoro leak, some new gameplay details like the item stores being placed inside Pokemon Centers as opposed to being separate buildings, random international Wifi battle matching, Triple Battles, and the new enemy organization is rumored to be "Team Plasma".

Also, the new lower battle screen looks like this, with the area circled in yellow being a weather status window.



Details on the newly announced pokemon:

Munna (the pink thing) is a Psychic type with either of the abilities Forewarn or Synchronize, and can learn a new move called Telekinesis, which levitates an enemy Pokemon. And is also a dream-eater pokemon, since Seratin wants me to say it.

Chiraami is the Normal type chinchilla, with Cute Charm or Technician as its ability. Prof. Araragi owns one.

Gearu, the double-Bronzemite, is a Steel pokemon and has either of the new abilities Plus or Minus. Not sure of the effects.

Mamebato is the new Pidgey of B/W. A Normal/Flying type pokemon with either Super Luck, or the new "Bird Breast". The latter prevents Mamebato's defense from being lowered.

Hihidaruma is that round fire-ape thing, with the ability "Strengthen", which raises its attack power in exchange for disabling additional effects (like lowering defense for Crunch, or Fire Blast's burn).

Shimama is the Electric zebra, with the ablities Lightning Rod, or Motor Drive. It learns a new move called Wild Bolt which deals massive electric damage but with recoil damage.

Meguroko is a desert crocodile pokemon, with Ground and Dark types. It has either the ability Intimidate, or a new one which roughly translates to Overconfidence, which boosts its Attack stats when it defeats an enemy pokemon.

Also, types were revealed for Reshiram and Zekrom, who are Dragon/Fire and Dragon/Electric respectively.

 

Fatpinkblob is a dream eater pokemon. It also looks to have a snout type thing. If this is a shit pre-evo to an already shit (read: creepy) line, then I will not be pleased.

 

Fucking finally. I've been waiting for Dragon/Electric for-fucking-ever. Too bad it's on an uber and so I can't use it in tourneys Still, awesomesauce.

 

Why is it that mknote is suddenly a sort-of-normal person (who even sounds a little respectable at times) when he talks about Pokemon? I don't get it.

Wow, these pokemon actually look like someone put some creative thought into designing them.

 

Hell to the yes, Gen 5 is starting to shape up nicely, though I'm not too sure whether the legendaries typing fits with their look.

 

The official Japanese release date has been announced on Pokemon Sunday as September 18.

Apparently, some new footage will be revealed on Ohasuta! on Monday.

 

Next gen rival and some new pokemon have been revealed.

 

Pokemon Global Link is going to be awesome for when I want to replay through the game but keep my save file/pokemon.

 

I`ll just say that pokebeach made a mistake in regards to White High Link - it should say White`s High Link instead, White being the trainer`s name.

New Pokemon descriptions by me: mole thing, mole thing's evolution, sarcophagus, electric tarantula, giant armoured mantis thing, some indescribable white smiley thing with a green glow, a four-legged rock monster, a ghost girl, a Koffing/Zubat thing, a cute little Larvitar-Mudkip thing and two starter evolutions, which look pretty cool.

Well, this is off topic, but I got to brag. I just caught the pokerus on pearl. Yay!

 

I've only ever gotten it once, on the original Silver I think. My that was a glorious day.

 

Congrats on actually catching pokerus without getting an infected pokemon from someone else, lol.

...I just caught a shiny Krabby in the wild, lol. I don't know whether to be happy or just confused at the uselessness of it.

 

I got Pokerus on my Sapphire game. I'm thinking about getting a newly infected 'mon and trading it up to Gen 4.

 

Funny thing is that the internets tell me that you are 3 times as likely to get a shiny than the pokerus, but I've never even seen a shiny (not counting the red gyrados that was part of the story that one time).

Also, I fucking hate the battle tower. I'm trying to get those six ev boosting items, but they's makin' me so angry.
