For those of you wondering what ISoT stands for, it means "Island in a Stream of Time", a phrase that has come to be known as the type of fic where one civilization is transported through time or space to another civilization either far more backward or far more advanced curbstompage usually follows.

I suddenly have an urge to read such fics. I've already gone through the previous DLP thread and didn't really find much new and was wondering if anyone knew any good ISoT fics, hell I'll even take regualr curbstomps as long as they're not ST/SW.

 

Darth Marrs's The Boy Who Fell (SW > HP) and Blue Sun Down (SW > Firefly) come to mind.

 

The only one I can think of right now is DireSquirrels Every Silver Lining has its Cloud.
It is a BTVS/Forgotten realms crossover, here is a link.
If I remember right it's quite good.
