When I first saw this game in the steam updates, I did not have high hopes. Oh how wrong I was. The best part is, for the next 26 days it is free!

The best part of playing this is the maps. Amazing detail and the sheer size of them is savage. I just deployed an airbase at Cashel and launched some light bombers to Tipperary town.

I highly recommend this game, particularly as it is in open beta and a reasonable 2,2 gb.

Indeed vash, that game is epic. I played on both closed and open beta. while lots of change were made. the game is fucking awesome. and perfectly balanced.

The game is all about strategy, counter, long term planning and being lucky enough to have the right unit, at the right place, at the right time.

Its a lot like playing chess with income and great graphic. especially in team game.

One player can also hold off 5 other, if hes good enough with placing his unit and using the ruse card to his advantage.

With RUSE; said goodbye to mass annihilation, because you cant do that, unless your able to keep all your unit in the radio silence card and pass trough his detector.


you can also beat an opponent even while outnumbered in term of unit and income. using a clever tactic to get behind his line and infantry to capture his base. The great question in those time is how....

 

While the trailer is indeed epic (I want that table), isn't it the same trailer as from long before? The one that was linked way back? Or maybe I just found it myself...meh, never mind, great watching it again

 

I found I got killed before I fully figured out how to control everything.

 

This game is epic played the beta and while at first its hard after awhile you start to get it. Also the dues face at 1:38 is creepy.

 

Trailer looks amazing, but I'm not much into these kinds of games. Starcraft is about the limit to my ability with RTS (and even that is pushing it).

Tried this the other day. Wanted to bash the dev's head in. The controls feel sluggish as shit, and constantly resetting my camera angle every time I zoom is driving me apeshit. The single player keeps getting interrupted with split screens, just poor design.

I feel like I cant select my troops fast enough or get them to where I want them to be properly. Controls need work and fine tuning.
