Also, ill second Thief of Hogwarts to be added. Great humor fics are really rare and a lot of times they don't get 5 stars since Nonjon sets the bar so high.

 

I only noticed this now but I think you forgot to add Nuhuh's stories. I didn't find any of his and almost everything he writes definitely belongs in that C2.

Guys, we just hit 117, that's well over 25% of the distance in less than a day. You blow me away. Each and every one of you are legends in my eyes. Never can I ever find fault with DLP as a community ever again.

EDIT: BTW, in the wider shape of things, we're just below the Top 100 if it were update in real time. Another 20 or so votes and we'll bust right in there. If we continue at this rate (unlikely but possible) we'll bust into the Top 25 in 2 days.

This morning, when I joined, I was a bit dubious because the first page was almost entirely < 10k word abandoned fics, with a few oneshots and longer works thrown in. Now, it looks awesome. I keep getting email alerts saying that a new story has been added to the C2, and each and every one of them makes me warm and fuzzy inside.

Great work so far, NMB. There are not enough thumbs on my feet to show my praise.

If people want to nominate stories to go in, provided they're in the Library and in some way exemplary, I'm more than happy to tac them in provided people are happy with it. This is a DLP project, not just mine. I'm here to serve

For what it's worth, 4.00 is the cut off point though. 3.50 - 4.00 just aren't good enough to make it.

 

I don't think it's bad, even library worthy but I didn't really find it that amazing to be included in the best of DLP. And I also didn't find anything about it on this site. But it's only my opinion.

 

Feel free to cast a vote against it bro ;D

For what it's worth DLP, FFNet now considers us the 114th biggest C2 and I can't imagine there's many that have ever expanded as quickly as we have.

If that were the case, then I wouldn't have considered Jbern's fic to be included either. It's not bad but it certainly doesn't rank on par with Joe's or Santi's stories.

@nmb: Good idea on creating the community.

I assume by the inclusion of Nos Tres Reges' work that the C2 is not limited to DLP authors.

I'd nominate Fayr Warning's stories: Child of Mercy and Reign of Power. I might have missed it but they did not seem to be in the C2. Both of them are awesome stories.

 

But with Jbern's lie who lived, you've got a lot of people on this site who really like it and it has gotten a very good rating although some don't like it at all. Not sure about his other stuff.

While this story(Who's Polyjuicing whom?) doesn't have a library or WBA thread (as far as I know) and it's harder to see what other people think of it.

 

Found three fics from my fav list that were at least rated 4/5 on average here that could be added to the community.
