It may not be a dream. Once we're on the front page we'll get a lot more traffic. Then non-DLPers will start to subscribe. Eventually, we might make #1. Especially since the quality of the Indy or Dark or Powerful Harry community has gone down.

 

I'm surprised people haven't just started registering shitloads of accounts and subscribing 50+ times each.

 

I think that wouldn't give the same sense of accomplishment.

 

That would make for tainting of most glorious movement for DLP.

Plus, I don't think we need it. I would awesomeface all month if the c2 makes it to the top spot in (given the current rate of growth) barely a month's time.

 

You need a valid email address to do it - it's too much work for the benefits for a single additional subscriber. I don't know if they still use it, but there was a three day waiting period before accounts got activated when I signed up, years ago. :/

And yeah, I considered it. Perhaps a phishing scam advertisement would do the same trick!

 

This is about demonstrating DLP's power and potential and sheer loyalty. Not our propensity for sheer douchbaggery ;D

 

Currently #28 on the Harry Potter one. We need 55 more to break into the top 25 and topple a Snape C2. Come on people subscribe

I'm seconding this. It's still up on FFN with a current rating of 4.49.

Using multiple accounts for this may not be a good idea, the FFN mods might decide to remove all subscribers from the site.

No need to worry about making fake accounts. This = qft.

Now that we're pretty much there, the C2 will get notice from the FFnet drones, and they'll begin subscribing. As soon as we get onto the front page, things will take care of themselves, and we can go back to concentrating on making epic fanfiction to go in the C2.

I didn't like Anarkia that much. So I an not for it. But I am all for Freedom for Apathy and it's sequel being in the community.
