I respectfully disagree. I liked the Noisettes cover, despite the Hairspray esque appearance. Especially since they have no decent songs of their own they really worked hard to try to get this one to sound good.

In other news I found this guy on youtube who does the best Radiohead cover I have ever seen.
    Radiohead covers:
    Lucky- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EaRSZ7kEXOo
    Creep- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RwTcy2D961c&feature=related
    Karma Police- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=we_mxjZ2kto
Etc.. He has like 30 covers on his channel and one of the few people who can also do an Elliot Smith cover.

    Links are fixed Sorry Xiph0

Not sure If any of you are familiar with the Swell Season but they did a great cover of Van Morrison's Into The Mystic- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rq53NkUZAT0
    EDIT:
    Mercy by OneRepublic(Duffy cover)- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tX4lfOrXQ3M&feature=related
Btw I corrected those typos, it was early

SRV has some good covers of Voodoo Child. If you look up his live performances you'll notice that each one is different. Sometimes he'll drag the guitar solo out for a few minutes.

Also, this group I never heard of did a decent cover of The Logical Song

I'm too lazy to go back and check who pointed 'em out right now, but the Paramore covers of Foo Fighters' My Hero and Kings of Leon's Use Somebody are fucking awesome--thanks for pointing them out.

The tribute to George Harrison's "While My Guitar Gently Weeps"

Bask in the glow of so many legit musicians on one stage. Jeff Lynne and Tom Petty are awesome together vocally, and Prince...well, no explanation necessary.

"While my guitar" is easily one of my favourite songs ever, and this cover just blew my mind away. I had no idea it even existed.

    Thank you.

    Agreed,
Weezer did a 2 in 1 cover with kids/pokerface(MGMT/GAGA) was really good. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a_8GNaEVCPU&feature=related Though whoever edited the video should die in hell, I almost passed out watching it.

Also Weezer covered Creep by Radiohead and did a group version of it when they were on their Hootenanny tour, where they invited their fans to bring any instrument and play their songs along with them at a radio station.

    Hootenanny style- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6LloyIK72UA&feature=related

Joe Cocker- With a little help from my friends(Beatles)- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gQLtCoh5EaI
    Joe Cocker-You are so beautiful(Billy Preston)- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wlDmslyGmGI

Stevie Wonder- For once in my life(Jean DuShon)- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1vxVyaYuGYE

So i've been wathcing this amaetuer musicisian for a while and have decided he does some of the best cover i've ever heard. His name is Mike Masse and it's kind of sad that he has to play in a pizzeria but anyway.

    Wild World(Cat Stevans)- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GAOeWMxSmOE
    Free Fallin(Tom Petty)- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z3hSG-b_dQ4&feature=related
    One(U2)- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AULz58GyEUI&feature=related

I know it was mentioned before somewhere but I felt like posting it again anyway because Jeff Buckley's cover of halleluigh is probibley one of the best covers of all time. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y8AWFf7EAc4&feature=av2e

Fuck you. No. STOP CHANGING LYRICS, ASSHOLES!

A Perfect Circle covered Imagine. I imagine every villain is playing this while torturing Bond, Superman, Batman, etc... :/ Seriously. Why the balls does Maynard James Keenan turn everything into a dark and spooky ballad... >_>

Hey Jude done by Joe Anderson(Across the Universe)

I thoroughly enjoyed this cover, and most of the songs throughout the movie. If you haven't seen it I suggest watching it. NOW!
