As I read through it and later on finished it a voice in my head told me I should hate it, but I can't help but think it was a pretty good fic. It's 9 chapters long and it's a great way to pass time as you wait inbetween other fanfiction updates.

Yeah, I think a couple hundred years pass or something like that. There was 1 battle that I thought was rather alright.

 

I actually liked this little fic. It's very short and from the same author as the "Not Myself" series, which I don't particularly care for. This is just a pretty typical Vampire!Harry fic. Limited bits of angstiness as everyone looks down on vampires, they're evil, they're crazed killers, they're dangerous, etc... Don't think there's anything you've not seen hundreds of times before. But considering Vampire!Harry is so rarely interesting at all to me, and this Snape-loving author is so rarely interesting at all to me, I still read and enjoyed this little ficlet while she was pumping out those little two-thousand-words-if-you're-lucky chapters.

 

read this one a looooooooooooooooong time ago. it was fine. some okay characterization. this author usually bothers me as for the life of me i cannot figur out what the appeal behind snape is.

btw, is that burning house in the banner supposed to have some significance, or is just a burning house.

 

I think it's Godric's Hollow. I could be wrong of course.

 

The burning house is Numba 4... The Dursley's home. I read it. I ... didnt mind it, considering the author. I wouldnt say I LIKED it, but I dont Dislike it either. Its decent.

 

The title it...irks me. It's okay, but the titile makes me want to hurt something.

 

That's basically how I felt. It was a Ginny and Snape fan kinda fic but without Ginny and Snape. I actually believed the OC pairing more than Ginny herself.

 

This one was a nice story. I liked that one.

 

This is pretty pathetic.

First chapter, Harry Potter turns out to be a vampire for an undisclosed reason. Why a vampire chose to "sire" him is a mystery. The ending is a shameless one-liner rip-off of ending of the first chapter from Ruskbyte's From the Abyss.

Harry's lived for a hundreds of years, and for such a mysterious dark vampire he's had nothing better to do than to hang around Ron Weasley's descendants.

No shit? Vampires have empathic abilities bitches.

"Hey, kitten," I murmured, smiling gently.

"'Lo," mumbled Briana in reply. "I feel all weak."

"I know, kitten."

And Harry addresses the Weasley spawn by "kitten".

Briana Weasley is dying, so Harry vampirizes her after thinking it through for about as long as a very short paragraph. Then he berates himself for his stupidity a scene change later. For an immortal being with centuries of life experience, his wisdom is lower than that of a particularly dumb Barbarian from Neverwinter Nights.

Briana Weasley still ages despite being turned into a vampire a chapter earlier. Meaning she should still be a seven year-old. So the internal logic is all messed up since by definition she should end up dying of old age, contrary to the immortality of vampires. I Just to avoid complicated situations when her family and friends notice, possibly engendering hatred of Harry, and the story could have been interesting following their complex relationship etc.

Lazy.

Oh, and vampires don't need to drink human blood.

If Harry went gay and started having his anus reamed by all the other vampires, this would not make the story worse.

Four years makes a difference, I suppose.

 

I actually lol'd when I read the title. Clearly this author isn't Welsh.

 

While this is more readable than expected, given some of the ideas behind it; vampire!Harry, Weasley!spawn, the PoV changing every fifty-odd words, and so on, I can't say this is DLP material.

It's decent for FFnet.

It doesn't belong in the Library.

 

I think it deserves a spot in the Library just so I can read the title again whenever it gets necro'd.

I've never seen another story titled like that. Thankfully.

 

I haven't either. An odd title for a Mediocre story.

Edit: Why the hell isn't this in the trash bin anyway? Doesn't belong in the Library.
