Dude, this is Naruto. The story where the greatest ninja ever killed himself for absolutely no logical reason. Where an evil ninja plans to use the motherfucking MOON to brainwash humanity.

Plotholes are to be expected. They needed Naruto out of the fight so Gai could be badass, so, Naruto can't heal right now. Next week, he'll have his head cut off and get back up.

    Word.

Could have been a bit less transparent and flimsy though. I don't forsee a good end to this series.

    On another note...

wtf, I always thought Kishimoto was a fairly old guy. I always thought senility was to blame... oh well.

I reiterate. The motherfucking moon, is the body of a being that the first ninja sealed into himself, and split into nine parts when he died. The series' main villain intends to use this as some sort of malevolent brainwashing satellite.

Naruto's sore ankle is the most coherent thing that's come out of this story in months.

Yeah, I pointed that out when I first read the chapter. I have yet to hear an alternative explanation for that panel.

Besides him emphasizing his decleration of becoming the "Orange Hokage" by showing off his trusty orange jumpsuit?

    EDIT: And what Howdy said.

He is sitting down while Kushina tells her story.

That panel shows him putting his hand on this thigh to get leverage while standing up to show off his jumpsuit.

The stupid nicknames they come up with in fanfiction are only trumped by the stupid nicknames that canon seems to throw out.

    It really is cringe worthy.

'God of Shinobi' and the 'Legendary Pervert' don't seem so stupid to me. Lol

Funny, because this is essentially the plot of the Assassin's Creed storyline. Relics of power. Using them to control mankind from space. Except Assassin's Creed has better ninjas.

As much as I loved Assassin's Creed, the plot was not the strong point of the game. This comparison does nothing to prove Fiat Pisces wrong.

At least Naruto is more coherent than Bleach.

There's an enormous difference between "There are alien relics that allow people to control the minds of others. The bad guys are going to shoot them into space, and brainwash the world into obeying them." and "The moon is the body of an enormous and powerful demon. The bad guy wants to seal this demon within himself, and then use his hypno-eyes, somehow projected off of the moon, to brainwash everyone on earth."

That explosion was preetty big. I'm not sure what Gai meant with 'combat move', since it's still all chakra... Oh well.

I also don't quite know what to make of this chapter. Intresting, I suppose. Showing some of Kisame's past, kind of trying to get some sympathy for him, while still keeping him as a monster.

It doesn't help that Kisame looked like he was shooting a Kamehameha wave -_-

    Hmm.... no.

Gai's attack forced the ambient air to move according to his wishes - it wasn't nature manipulation like most of the other elemental ninjutsu we've seen.

    How can I explain this?

If you summon a giant boulder with the earth element and throw it at Kisame - that he could absorb. If you instead fire an existing boulder at him with a catapult he's still got a boulder to contend with.

In other words I think what Kisame has taught us is that elemental manipulation - no matter the form it takes - is still chakra at its base level. A lightning wolf is still chakra. A fireball is still chakra. Picking up a huge chunk of earth like Jiroubou did back in Part 1 is still picking up a huge chunk of earth.

    I think.

I've given up trying to understand the mechanics behind some of these different moves. There's just too much crazy stuff getting thrown around every which way.

What I found interesting was that the fourth mizukage was being controlled the whole time. It paints a different picture of the infamous jinchuuriki from the hidden waterpark.
