Thats were you guys are wrong. You see, this Naruto is part of another story, where the Fourth survived and blah blah, and he grew up very differently. So the OOC thing is invalid. Its fucking AU, I say whats OOC and whats not.

Its not severe mental problems. Its something else that I would explain, if I didnt know it would be shot down on the spot.

He doesnt watch Harry from afar. He could care less about Harry, but being who he is, he knows a bit more than the average gossipy student.
There is a reason for him going to Hogwarts. And if he was stuck there, he might as well do something and not die of boredom.

So you throw Naruto into another universe, and then to explain problems with your characterization you make his original universe an AU... Why are you using Naruto in the first place? Just like the name?

You change one part of a character/universe to see what happens, but changing everything... what makes your Naruto any connection to the real one? He isn't in his universe, he isn't his own self...

Because, his universe is not just some universe I have barely mentioned. Its the universe of my main Naruto fanfic. This Naruto/HP crossover can be considered filler of my other purely Naruto story, and wont be posted there, instead it will be a story on its own.

And while my Naruto is way different from the canon, so is half the Narutos and Harrys of their respective fandoms. Making him OOC is nothing new.

Ah... I will put it if you want, but I must warn you. When I wrote the first two or three chapters, they were not meant to be a long story. I was frustrated with how everything seemed to go wrong in everything I read, so I wrote something as I wanted it. But then I got the idea to keep writing it. Add to that my moderate writing talent, and you get an average quality story at best.
It badly needs a beta reader.Plus the story hasnt reached that point yet. Its still a good few chapters before that. Having read all that, do you still want the link?

 

So you're making a fic of your own fic. Slightly pretentious, but some fics can warrant that if they are good enough, but... really? Filler arc. For a story. Not a TV show that needs to be a certain length, a story that you have full control over and can only put in the "good parts", and skip the need for chapters of fuckery.

The story will be able to stand on its own, thus why I will be a story of its own. Plus, it doesn't have any effect on the original story, that why I call it filler.
