Wow, I was seriously prepared to be disappointed by this fight given Kishis track record with female ninjas but damn just freaking damn, Konan was fucking boss. Bet Madara didn't think shit was so funny after she popped him apart like a pinata.

 

Konan definitely surprised me, especially the paper ocean thing.

I find it surprising I haven't encountered a fanfic with Konan using her paper ability with explosive tags yet, it has potential.


Madara's a bit nonchalant about his present state though isn't he- I mean, even for an egocentric megalomaniac. I just hope it doesn't turn out to be another trolling Uchiha battle;

"Joke's on you Konan, I had you trapped the moment you looked me in the eye!!".....

I can't see how he could have given Nagato the Rin'negan or set it up though.
He's either a lying bastard or he tracked down a Senju+Uzumaki descendent, impregnated them and rejoined the three blood gifts of the Rikudo sennin.

Its scary that with Kishimoto that's actually, totally possible- complete with "I am your father" line delivered to Nagato's corpse.

 

The thing with Madara is, he's supposedly constantly lying, but I haven't seen it yet.

Every Uchiha battle before the one against Naruto will have generous quantities of hax!sharingan and trolling. These'll be present in the fight against Naruto too, its just that Naruto'll win despite them (probably with hax of his own) while others'll likely lose.

Konan was hot this chapter. Just hope that she doesn't bite the dust before she's had a chance to make good on her promise of support to Naruto. As to Madara's army, I suppose if he gets the Rin'negan, he can resurect people using Gedo Mazo? Or maybe he'll sacrifice Sasuke to do it...

 

Well, we already know that getting an arm blown off is really nothing more than a minor inconvenience for him. I suppose if I could replace lost limbs in a matter of seconds, I'd have a pretty cavalier attitude about having an arm blown off too.

I don't get you guys, I thought it was obvious that Naruto was related to Nagato... Distantly. They don't have to be cousins or something. In fact, what really should have given you guys the biggest clue is the fact Uzumaki is clan that branched itself from Senju. That means Uzumaki are descendants of the Rikidou and Nagato has the rinnengan, I'm sure I don't need to explain why bloodline limits are called bloodline limits.

Now I'm just waiting for us to learn that the Uzumaki clan was the rejoining of the Senju and Uchiha lines. For a bunch of dead guys they're starting to look pretty gar.

 

No no, the Senju and the Uchiha have to reunite in order to beat Madara.

The only thing that can achieve this is Naruto and Sasuke working together.


Or the power that Itachi gave Naruto will be the Uchiha part. Everything was planned out from the beginning by Itachi.

 

I'm more inclined to believe that Itachi's gift will be Naruto casting Blindagga on Sasuke now that he has Itachi's eyes.
