Holy shit. Haha. Looks like it could be fun.

Is this supposed to be some sort of continuation/tangent story of Penumbra or a stand alone?

Apparently it's a stand-alone game. Also there's a demo available for anyone strongly desiring to soil their undergarments.

For me, though, I'm going back to my brightly lit corner of the universe with some Wonderbread and JuicyJuice.

I couldn't see shit in that trailer.

Didn't find it that scary at all, decent atmosphere though.

Reminds me of Dead Space, in a way. That game had me crapping my pants. Never finished it.

LOL Yeah. First game that ever made me jump was Silent Hill... Dead Space managed to come close... I cannot wait to play this.

Fucking, turning off all the lights, using my awesome new headphones... If I die of a heart attack from fear, you can have my xbox.

Why you gotta hate, man? Why you gotta hate? Fix your monitor if you cant see anything.

Tbh, it was probably the sun shinning on my monitor at the time. I've never been a fan of being scared, but I just honestly didn't find that so scary. Nothing to really make you jump.

As I said though, the atmosphere of the unknown is done extremely well.

Yeah... That wasn't scary or anything. A nice display of the atmosphere, though. The terror I speak of comes from INBN telling me about the demo.

I, on the other hand, am a fan of being scared as ... Ever since Silent Hill way back when, I've always loved horror games.

Playing the demo at half 2 in the morning was probably a bad idea.

This game is awesomely creepy. Do want.

Holy fuck, I forgot to mention this once I got done playing it. Fucking epic game. Utterly and completely worth buying.

Not much in the way of controls, but they're fairly decent. The graphics and atmosphere are Sweet. The music and graphics really, really help sell all of it. Beautifully meshed. The story is actually damned interesting and fairly unique as far as games go.

Five out of Five. Personal game of the year of 2010.

    Also, I died watching this. So fucking hilarious;

Iztiak, you're required to post a reaction video and/or stream it live with mic. For the lulz.

lol. I'm not easily scared, but hell, I can stream it, why not. Just don't expect a terribly entertaining reaction. >>

Amnesia: How to not poop your pants

So I've just bought the humble bundle that was so awesomely suggested on this forum, and I noticed that Amnesia: DD is in the bundle. I've seen a few teaser videos on youtube of the game, and I think I will have a heart attack if I play the game.

I realize that the game has been out for awhile now, but I could use some tips.

Are there any suggestions on how to not poop your pants? Other than the obvious, like playing during the daytime.

Don't even THINK about playing in the daytime. The game may only be played at night with all the lights out or else you're doing it wrong.

    QFT.

If you aren't looking forward to get the shit scared out of you at certain times then this game clearly isn't for you. Don't be a wimp and play in the daylight or turn off the speakers. Play it at night, without any light source besides the screen, use headsets and crank up that volume. Fucking close the doors so that you're alone in the room when you play.

Edit: Or if you're adamant... I guess you can do the exact opposite of what I suggested.

If you aren't afraid, you're either Vivec and have achieved CHIM - thus realizing that the game and everything in it is a part of your all-encompassing existence - or you're playing it wrong.
