I'm planning on doing a series of playvids when i get White Version on the 18th.

If you're interested in tuning in for what I expect to be daily updates, I made a thread with a poll if you want to give me some support (and get video links once I start uploading).

Props go to Jon for stickying the thread.

The new CoroCoro has revealed a lot of stuff I'm not spoiling myself on, but mostly it's 100.000% confirmed the starter evolutions by their second stages. Overall, I'll say this: First off, Pokabu's line is probably the only sorta disappointment I have thus far, mostly because it's yet another fucking Fire/Fighting starter (As confirmed in this CoroCoro), and the middle evolution's a little iffy - like Nacho Libre, with Bacon. Tsutaja, my other favourite first form starter, turned out pretty much how I expected, and is pretty awesome. Mijumaru, on the other hand, has a second evolution that looks like a fucking boss in that CoroCoro scan (This one comment by the designers was: "How can we turn a sea otter into a samurai?"), so congrats to that little guy.

Lutris: It's a cool idea, but I'll be skipping the watch. I'd rather play and discover stuff for myself, hence I'll be staying the fuck away from most Pokemon sites from now on. Yay me?

    Whatever floats your boat, man.

/works on fixing up his webcam

But yeah. I'm kinda disappointed that the starter leaks turned out to be real (excepting for Mijumaru > Futachimaru- Otter Samurai is awesome). If the final evos are real as well, I'm kinda disappointed in them overall, to be honest.

Smugleaf looks half-assed, roast pork looks retarded, and the otter isn't an otter or a samurai ;_;.

Normally I stay the fuck away from the grass starter but it looks the least retarded this time.

I wonder what they are gonna call the third unifying on this time? Hopefully its not Pokemon Grey or something gay like that.

Also, HOLY SHIT A DRAGON/ICE LEGENDARY I SO FUCKING CALLED IT MWHAHA:awesome:awesome XDXD.

    /Kang dies from happiness.

Gray is the most likely one. They may go with a "Balance" or something like that though.

The steel/bug legendary seems to be insanely interesting as well.

Gray Version sounds so retarded. But it'll probably happen. And I'll probably buy it. And play it to death. :awesome

But yeah. That steel/bug legendary is going to meet a grisly end in front of any fighting or fire pokemon. 4x damage from either :/

Sorry to contradict you, but Bug isn't weak to Fighting, it resists it. In fact, Steel/Bug Pokemon like Scizor are weak only to Fire. It is a 4x weakness, though, and those really suck (my poor Abomasnow vs any Fire type :().

And I'd buy Pokemon Hispanic :awesome

Fire is much weaker due to Stealth Rock, and we're not sure if it's coming back or not yet. Flamethrower is a very common move currently, but who knows what the metagame will be in B/W?

I'm beginning to think that I was the only one on this thread to play through Pokemon games picking at least half my team based on the coolest looking pets and filling the rest out with stuff that could hit hard.

Granted the last one I played through completely was Blue. I played a bit of either Silver or Gold too though.

If I can find my DS I think I'll pick this up and try to do it properly this time -- you guys are inspiring me to enjoy it.

I'm loving most of those, but I'm still pretty pissed about the starters actually being what got leaked, especially since the fire starter is fire/fighting. Again. And the other starters don't even get a second type.

    How boring. =|

Bug also resists Fighting, which was the source of my confusion.

This is gonna rock. The sprites are giving me a decent idea of what kind of team to build for my playthrough, so wewt.

This batch of pokémon are like awesome little abominations of nature. The bug pokémon are my favourite, so far.
