Akali is indeed awesome. She's also one of the few heros where having all 3 snowball items make sense ;b (There is a bug where the passive isn't correctly accounting for stacks tho ).

Regarding Garen, you should check out Surarrin's Garen. He doesn't tank up at all, dps+ks whore .

Occult/Mejais/Tabi/Trinity/Zhonya's/Guinsoo's

Basic boots ----> Mejai's ------> Occult on a good game, phage after boots if not.

at 20/20 and 8 stacks of guinsoo's you get like 500 damage a hit, not including trinity force bonus. Thinking about swapping trinity to lichbane to benefit from my 600 AP instead of 270 damage, what dyou all think?

 

I'd go Mercury Treads instead of Tabi; pretty obvious choice, as CC is what'll shut down your DPS, not other DPS heroes.

Secondly, I'd stay with Trinity force. The occasional slows are pretty cool, as is the movespeed. Plus, Lich Bane doesn't really hurt as hard as you'd like until you have Zhonya's and Guinsoos - which is a lot later in the game.

You really shouldn't be farming as Akali, unless you count hero kills. You're a ganker, so your item build needs to reflect that. You can't be expecting to get your entire item build before late game.


On a happier note, did you guys know that according to the Test Realm, they aren't really nerfing Akali for the next patch? It's funny, because I've never had lower than a 12 KD ratio as her.

 

If you haven't already decided, I'd suggest Mordekaiser, Cho'Gath or Sion.

^And agreed with the above, though I've started picking a Rylai's on her, since the increased survivability and the slow really help me when I'm jumping in/chasing.

 

I went with Morde, played my first game with him. Absolutely loved the guy and would have won if Teemo hadn't timed out midgame >.> The items I wnt with were Cooldown Reduction/Armour, stuff like Frozen Heart but I wonder if I shouldn't have gone more flat health items.

My current build for him is [starting item]Doran Shield+HP pot>[core items] Sorceror Boots+2 Sunfire capes ->[Luxury Items] Frozen Mallet (If I need a slow) or Force of Nature (regen+movespeed boost+magic resist).

Get 2 points in siphon(cone aoe), then max out your creeping death first(shield that does aoe damage).

This is an aggressive aoe mordekaiser. Alot of mordekaisers go for pure tank items(warmogs etc), which make them have limited presence in the battlefield. Thus, smart enemy teams focus him last, this build forces your opponents to pay attention to you. If they don't kill you, they'll be dealing with a consistent 80 Dps aoe from sunfire capes+80 Dps aoe from creeping death+ your other skills. Sorceror boots because the magic penetration increases damage from all your skills + your sunfire capes.


regarding Akali. I'd really reccomend levi as your second snowball item instead of mejai's. Sure you're gonna be missing out on sweet dps, but Akali is so damn squishy that she really benefits from a cheap source of hp.

I've started like two months ago. Very low mental age on solo queues, but much more enjoyable when playing with friends on vent against full teams.

On a side note, the new champion Miss Fortune, apart being very sexy, is quite interesting to play. Anyone tried her out?

Miss fortune reminds me of Fiddles. Really dependent on having a good team.
Arm pen/Manaregen/cdr/move speed glyphs. I've been running 11/0/19, 15/0/15 most often. Building her really requires looking at enemy team's lineup. I really try to capitalize on her speed and often grab boots of mobility, sorc boots are great too on her.

I've had decent success with boots mobilit/manamune/trinity force(more movespeed). This build works on a decent number of compositions giving you decent damage and some survivability.Banshees veil, guardian angel, gunblade are decent items on her. Also, her ultimate has nice range, abuse the living shit out of that. Too many mf's are just popping their ulties too soon.

 

Hey guys, nice to see you all love LoL. I started playing a few week ago and I'm in love with the game, even when I get a retarded team.

I play as Morgana (love her) however I can also play with Xin, Shen and Amumu. Right now I'm looking for a ranged char, I believe I might get Ezreal.

What champion do you recommend guys? I've 8K IP

 

Ezrael or Ms Tits. They're really fun to play. Ezrael is less team dependent since he's a wily bastard and even after all those nerfs, is still a solid ranged dps'er

MsFortune is extremely fun to play. She's very squishy though and is vulnerable to poke attacks since they nullify her passive. She really really relies on having a good team if she wants to be able to poop out her ultimate for its entire duration.

Kog'Maw is another 6.3kip ranged powerhouse. At the moment, you're gonna see a lot of team compositions comprised of beefy ass champions. Kogmaw is your solution to that, his w gives his auto attacks percent of max hp damage. Has no escapes, you need to be on top of your game to play this fellow well.

Those 3 I would recommend. However, do wait to try them out at least once before buying.

 

I'm no pro, but I do decently enough most games. Darje1 if anyone wants to add me (because darje was taken, oddly enough). I try to play whatever the team needs, but I do prefer nunu, kassadin, urgot, yi, and poppy (long list, I know).

For a ranged champ I might suggest twisted fate, if you don't mind a small amount of unpredictability with his cards, and urgot (he's a little harder late game).

 

Currently playing with Vlad in normal games to get better at him, though when I do ranked I rotate between Poppy, Rammus, Xin Zhao, Garen, Kat and Olaf. So far been doing decently, getting (8-24)/(0-8)/(8-48). Username Ashan if you wanna play. Currently saving up for Koggy.

Huh, just noticed they're all multiples of 8. Fun.

 

my in game name is TSNLollipop (veigar, ryse and zilean are the only 3 toon that I play.)

 

I have tried a couple of times Twisted - he isn't easy to play, his small range doesn't do him much favor - though his cards volley can do some damage once geared in AP. He is easy to counter though - you see a yellow card above him? He'll stun you if you go near. You see a red one? He'll slow you or do some AE damage near you.

Kog'maw or Tristana are pretty good range-wise - I'd prefer playing them any day.

I have the most fun with Ezreal though - playing him, especially with an AD build, is completely orgasmic. I can kite 5 enemies alone, and kill a few in the process while they can't even hit me. It takes some time to learn and master him, but despites all his nerfs, he remains a really strong damage dealer and carry. You need to be really good with him though - if you can't play him well, or simply don't have the correct runes/masteries, you'll feel useless as in practically doing no damage and be only considered as a nuisance by the enemies.

I'm not all that good, and only at level 15, but I'm improving fast...


I mainly play Tristana and Alistar, but I'm also good with Yi and Ashe and Teemo, and even with Morgana, but haven't bought her.

Gangplank is also badass, I suck with my Sion, majorly, and would like to get Blitzcrank when i get some IP again.


The server status Busy is a major pain in the ass though
