I almost died watching this, I was laughing so hard.

 

If this were an actual movie, it would eclipse all that has gone before it.

I fucking loved this. Misty is a whore, though. Jesse and James and Meowth with the machine guns was :awesome.

 

If they ever actually did make a live action movie... which would never happen, I'd hope the pokemon didn't look like 3D teddy bears. Apart from that though, I lol'd.

I'd watch that shit. Would be good to see how the handled the Legendary pokemon battles. Also, was I the only one who thought it was just the manga with the Pokemon anime names and stuff? Gritty and dark. Adventures was pretty dark. For Pokemon.

 

:/ If the Pokemon CG was fixed, it would make a credible fan film. Squirtle and Jigglypuff look almost alright, the rest look like fuzzy paper-mache.

Yeah, the Pokemon look like doll, but holy fuck, this still looks awesome. Personally, I love the darker and grittier tone; it reminds me somewhat of The Sun Soul.

I hope whoever made the trailer gets the funds and motivation to turn this into an actual movie. I'd pay to see it, even with the Pokemon designs the way they are. Hell, some of the Pokemon (Geodude, Gyarados, and Squirtle, for instance) looked pretty good. Misty was hot and a bit slutty, which I didn't mind. And Mewtwo causing some girl (Misty? Jesse? can't tell...) to put a gun to her head was a nice touch, even if the Mewtwo model sucked balls.

All in all, I'm rather impressed.

 

I like people who say that Pokemon doesn't have seriously dark, obscene elements. It's a world where ten year olds are allowed to leave home for years at a time to run around unsupervised with massive, horrible monsters roaming the countryside, attempting to beat them into submission, capture them, and use them in a worldwide cockfighting ring.

That my friends is pure denial.

 

This trailer...I'd watch the movie, but I'd be disappointed.

Sun Soul needs to be made into a movie, though. The win would be so epic that fucking gods would fall dead out of the sky.

 

Actually pretty awesome for a fan movie. Gritty reboots ftw.
