Got a key from dragonsgirl, so I have two keys if anyone is interested.

 

I get an error code= 60 when I try to download the patch. Anyone know what could be causing this?

Received my key from Seraphim, thanks dude. Can't play for a while as I moved to Dublin and my retarded landlord is taking forever to set up internet.

This was fun at first but now I can't even be bothered to log in. The game just seemed very linear (suprisingly so, for an RPG) and the combat system seemed very repetitive.

 

I downloaded the installer but it always says there's an installation error right when I begin the setup. Anyone else had this problem or knows how to fix it?

I'm running Windows Vista, have no idea how to check other specifics.

 

I can safely say that I have no clue what the problem is, other than it sounds like you have a corrupted installer. I'd suggest downloading HashCheck and checking the md5 checksum of your installer against the md5 on the website where you downloaded it.

Dunno. All I did was log in. Hit the button for one of the servers. It asks for elevation( basically 7's UAC kicked in) I said yes and it installed fine. Never had to deal with downloading an acutal installer.

I directed him to the mirror in the first post, because I was having trouble downloading the client using the method you describe.

 

Still not working for me, but I've given up anyways. If my start into the game goes like this, assuming the rest of the platform requires the same level of understanding to play comfortably, and taking into account I need noob-proof instructions for everything when it comes to computers, I might as well quit before I get hooked and have to bitch because I just don't get it.
