Doesn't look half bad, I ceertainly agree with the choice of Brendan Gleesons son as Bill Weasley. Looked the part at any rate.

Still, like when I saw HBP, GoF, PoA & to some extent, OoTP at the cinema, i'll be leaving my brain at the door and just pretending I never read the books after PoA like most of the sheep now.

As for the spells, I never knew they had so many Spells that were white, blasts of force or simply a mixture of the two That said, the Killing Curse in ooTP looked like a whisp of smoke so.. Better spell effects would have made the battles seem at least believable. I've also imagined spells to be devastating, have some kind of force and sound behind them at least. Also; When did everybody become so profoundly amazing at non-verbal casting?

Also; Nighy as Scrimgeour - Win, but it still doesn't look right. Kingsley's patronus = Fail & I agree with blazzano, Apparating could've been done much better than making everyone seem like a White or Black smokescreen on the move.

Non-verbal casting: in terms of canon fidelity, I agree, but I can see why they did it. Makes it far less fiddly and potentially stupid on-screen - and lets face it, when they did have the incantations they ballsed those up as well.

Nighy: Abso-fucking-lutely. Nighy's awesome, but he's a lanky streak of piss, not a former Auror. Scrimgeour needs some meat on his bones.

Apparating: the black/white smoke is not Apparation - it's not entirely clear what it is, but rewatch OoTP (if you feel like it). Fred and George, at least, Apparate normally, and so does Dumbledore in HBP.

The black/white 'apparition' thing bugged me since the first time I saw it because that's exactly how I imagined Voldemort would look when he did his flying trick. Granted, I expected his head and shoulders to be solid and visible in front of the smoke, perhaps with his arms stretched forward and wand in hand. But that doesn't change that they took one of the coolest shit Voldemort did and made it as mundane as lighting your farts with the tip of your wand.

Am I the only one who's going to be extremely amused if the movie does in fact have that sex scene they mentioned? I mean... fuckin' lulz.

Ah, my bad at mistaking the smoke to be Apparation.. Was listening to the battle in OoTP at the time as I enjoyed the duel between Voldemort & Dumbledore at the end, even though I felt it could've easily been double the length. Still, Fred & George do apparate 'normally' so, that's all fine & good.

Re-watching it again and I don't have my book handy, but at the table of Death Eaters, Malfoy stands out, as in, Sr & Jr. I don't remember Draco being there.. though I could be wrong as Snape was. Also; Lack of Muggle Studies teacher? More of a shock to the kids when they see that scene in the film perhaps, or do we think they skipped over it?

Outside of that, i'll enjoy sitting in the Cinema with a few friends & doing as I did throughout HBP, tearing it to pieces. Yes, i'm one of those people when it comes to the HP films. HAVE to verbally destroy it on my first viewing.

Well I hope you get the savage beating you no doubt deserve. I fucking hate cinema-talkers. You're worse than pedophiles.

Savage beating from kids? I doubt it. If they had brains they'd read a book but in this age of course that's asking too much.

They fucked up his hair... Again. Aside from that it doesn't look that bad. But for some reason if a Harry Potter film is 'dark' they have make it dark litrally. In a way though, I'm kind of sad to see this come out as this DH is last book I can imagine myself without it being tainted by the movies.

Er . . . someone no read read book book? If Harry's going to be having fuck-dreams, it's gonna be about gin-slut, not Hermione . . . unless he's into (kinda-like) incest (SHE"S LIKE MY SISTER!LOLOLOLOLOL)

And so begins a slew of Harry/Ron stories. Worse than that, Harry/Dumbledore beats out Harry/Snape. I'm calling it, guys.

No worries - everything will be presented in such a way that everyone (except the biggest prudes) will wonder what the big deal was.

Therefore, it'll only be worth it if fake!temptress!Hermione makes some sort of "Head Girl" quip.

It's not dream, but illusion created by Horcrux to torture Ron. I'm more interested if Hermione will be also naked or at least naked-ish.

But nude Harry looks like cheap shot for girls who loved watching werewolves from Twilight series. Especially when they want to have him also naked in the King's Cross station scene (does it mean Dumbledore also will be naked?).

Teen girls aren't the only ones that get turned on by naked men. The old ladies need their naked man too.

Trufax. The first women I ever heard talking about the 'Team Jacob" nonsense irl were two 40somethings while in line at a coffee shop.

Now imagine it's two 40-something dudes talking about "Team Bella". Women get away with too much. Or rather, men get away with too little.

Come on, that one's too easy to get away with.

You just say you mean Bellatrix.

No, I'd use Twilight's Bella - and go on about how I'd want to watch her while she sleeps, taste the sweet nectar that is her blood, and have a cave-full of vampire babies...

...then said women will be as disgusted with themselves as they are with me, and distance themselves as far away from Twilight as possible.

Disregard, because I forgot: women + persuasive logic = DNE
