You really should watch... uh I think its season 3, where House ends up firing all of his staff. It gets back to being interesting there.

As for the episode directed by Hugh Laurie... eh. It could of been worse, I guess. Stoned!Taub/Foreman was pretty funny. So was 13 flashing Taub.

Last night was season 6 finale. Haven't seen it yet; did anyone watch it?

I didn't liked it. They tried to do a remake of last years finale episode, only this time House doesn't take drugs.

The only things I liked about it was Thirteens mysterious resignation. Is her disease acting up?

    Anyway:

Fuck House/Cuddy. I hope he kills her in the next season.

There is going to be season 7 right?

Either that or her dad died/is about to. Or some such.

I'm still convinced she used to sell/take drugs or be a prostitute. Something along those lines. Maybe that's connected, since it's never been properly expanded on. Just throwing that out there in case I'm right. :p

Otherwise, a cool episode. It was good to see House fail, especially since he should have otherwise won out in the end.

The House/Cuddy stuff isn't particularly interesting. Though I'm curious to see A) if it really was a hallucination (doubtful, she helped him to his feet, something that's obviously hard for him to do himself. And I don't buy the "didn't take the drugs" thing, he could've easily bumped his head) and B) how it'll affect the dynamic between them when he wants to do random dangerous procedure X.

Any ideas what him leaving his cane behind and wandering about without it is meant to symbolise? Slow walk to change?

I think that was explained by her lifestyle. Being a bisexual who liked to party, A LOT .

If House changes I wont watch this anymore, I like his attitude.

Hmm, yeah, that explains her knowing about the quality of drugs in 506 (the one with the guy who tested coffee machines and kept losing time).

But it doesn't explain her being able to tell the CIA agent wasn't carrying a gun in 406 (one with the drag race driver). It also doesn't explain her instinctively acting like a prostitute in 610 (drug dealer who was a cop and died).

    But yeah, maybe.

And I really doubt they'd completely change House unless they were about to end the whole series. More likely a permanent break up with Cuddy will fuck him up even more and leave him yet more misanthropic.

I think y'all are worrying too much. House didn't change much during a stint in a mental institution, really. Still a morally gray, cantankerous bastard with a brilliant medical mind and lots of baggage.

Adding Cuddy into the mix is an interesting move, but I doubt much'll radically change House into something different. The dynamic may shift a bit but he doesn't strike me as the type to sit there and roll over like a bitch so things between him and Cuddy stay fine and dandy. Maybe she'll become the changed one because of his influence?

I have some faith, I guess. I'd rather Cuddy than back to drugs, I think. Hmm... give me a summer and a few episodes next season to make a full decision.

So, necro, I'm aware, but this show is now back. I thought I'd reel it back in.

First episode of new season was kind of limp. Second one was epic. The first few minutes in the parking garage made me Laddergoat (In other news, it is now a verb). And so far, the romance hasn't been too incredibly fail.

Though Olivia Wilde disappearing out of fucking nowhere is :facepalm. Way to remove half the male viewership there Fox.

The premiere sucked, but last night's episode was amazing.

I'm glad Thirteen is gone, I hate that character so much.

Is it just me, or was that one hell of a tearjerker?

Episode two of season 7 was indeed a big tear jerker. Especially the conversation with the two siblings was moving.

I'm enjoying this season so far. I'm not worried that this new change in the status quo is going to make House less enjoyable to watch - he's still the same bastard when he wants to be. First episode was good, second episode awesome, third episode solid (With my exposure to fandoms for years now, seeing little jokes about it with the writer Patient of the Week was amusing as all hell, if a bit odd).

new episode of House was meh. Was kind of nice to see how a normal or better mediocre doctor would fit in that kind of group full with mean spirited mind games. But other than that, nothing much to say.

The actress who plays Cuddy won't be returning next season. I'm not too upset about it. I was never really a fan of the character and the House/Cuddy relationship was nauseating to watch.

How the hell are they going to pull that off? She's a major character and House's love interest. Who are they going to replace her with?

The show won't last without her. Fuck. I loved that show.

    /angry rant

Honestly, the show's quality has been going down for a while (at least in my opinion), so this might not be so bad. While this season was 'good', many of its chapters were pretty boring, mostly the chapters with too much Cuddy in them.

Maybe this will give the writers new ideas that lead to the awesome final season a show like House deserves, or... well, let's don't think about that.

As a side note, I hope they explain her disappearance in this season's finale. They can kill her if they want, but I don't want to see some half-assed bullshit explanation.

I don't think they'll kill her off. That'd be too easy. They'll probably make her leave the same way the made that brunette chick who was married to Chase leave. The whole "I can't take this anymore!" thing.

Killing her off would be so cheap.
