PhoenixCull is what I go by.

 

Just started playing this game. Lvl 10 within 5 days or so. Maining Ashe, Annie, and Heim something or other.

Prometheius is my IGN.

 

If you can excel at Heim you're golden. Covale's my ign lets play sometime.

Did you folks watch Europe versus America in the WCG finals? It was awesome and full of win. AP TF was played so well by team europe in round 1, really inspiring ;b. Team America(actually team canada since theres 3 canadians on it) completely outpicked Europe in rounds 2/3.

Those games were amazing I spent the entire day watch all the WCG LOL games. I gotta say EU won the first game because of the Twisted Fate which complete countered the 5 man team fight push style of NA. NA did the smart thing by banning TF for the 2nd and 3rd games. Anivia's walls+ Ashe's Arrows won NA the second game. The better AoE composition won NA the 3rd game with the first ace in a open space next to dragon.

Fucking amazing games.

EU won the first match because of their one trick pony TF, combined with their two baron steals. When you took that away, CLG clearly was the better player, at least in the teamfights and the farming. Bigfatjiji's walls and arrows really were top notch in game 2 and 3. At least I think it was Jiji in team 2 with Anivia. ALso, HotshotGG did well with Taric. Whoever the amumu player did amazing too. Elementz with Garen just meatrolled their face in the third game. Just amazing play.

Also, gotta love the the Kassadin EU player who still got Meija's in the third game despite both the first and second game not turning out so well in the stacking.

CLG should be renamed Team Korean. :3

@Iztiak Do you have any tips on how to play kog? Like what items do you generally get.

 

I have tried various builds - it really depends what you are up against. But generally, a hybrid build with Guinsoo, Zhonya and Madred works pretty well. It gives you enough AP to hurt a lot with your ultimate, and you can burn easily through tanks such as Garen while being far far away from him (you'd better stay far away from him in any case!)

 

I'm not particularly fond of hybrid, to be honest. But I suppose it all depends on your playstyle, and what works best for you. I'd advise experimentation.

I will agree though, Madred's Bloodrazor is an item you should definitely get.

 

I'm trying to find good players to join up with now that I've picked Zilean as my main. I can't do anything if my team is crap.

Also, if you see glowing lanterns around your char, please rush and die within 10 seconds. It means you get auto-res for 500-1k+ HP.

Koggie... madred bloodrazor is excellent. Its got a great buildup, and synergizes with the W. I like frozen mallet, with your excellent range + the slow you can usually kill people before they reach you unless they have a blink.

Green elixirs are amazing on kog, people think that since its a temporary boost (4 minutes) and costs 300 gold you should only purchase them at end game. I think that way of thinking is erroneous since a 30% attack speed bonus and extra 15% chance of critical can easily turn a midgame teamfight. After you have your bloodrazor, boots, and phage you should definitely have one of these babies ready for a team fight. Lizard buff is amazing since its slow is additive with frozen mallet's ^.^

After Bloodrazor and mallet I typically opt for guardian angel. People really really like to focus my kog and survivability items are a great idea. Guardian Angel, banshees veil, etc work well.

 

AP Kog is how I've seen him play. I personally thinks it more viable.

 

What? Why?

I mean, I run tank Zil, and I usually have Guardian Angel + 40% CD + Zhonya's +300~ AP + 3k HP by the time a game hits 35-40 minutes.

I don't get how Zil's a masochist char. He's a great early and end-game char, especially with his high speed to escape enemies, nuke and delayed nuke damage, and auto/double-auto res.

 

^.^ playing zilean solo queue is masochism. Yes! I just ulted our carry so he can finish those 3 guys at 20% hp! NO! You've got revive on! Don't run away!

Ap kogmaw is viable. Its effectiveness is more situational though since it outputs much less damage versus those annoying tankheavy lineups that are so popular these days.

 

My IGN is Mishie and I usually use Ryze, although I am saving up to get Kog'maw soon.

Black Shield is fucking OP. Its like Janna's shield, but instead of a bf sword boost at max level, its a goddamn no slow from spells including ults like Ashe's, no summoner spells, no red buff slow, no fucking nothing but autoattacks work. ONLY THING that blocks red buff slow. I'm pretty sure Banshee's doesn't even do that.
Add in her snare, farming tool, and a huge AoE dmg/slow ult, Morgana is stupidly strong.

EDIT: It allow you to escape Amumu/Galieo's ultimate as the ultimate doesn't stun/taunt you. Stupidly powerful shield on already decent champ makes Cull mad.

Also, Swain is a completely horrible hero with no point to him in his current state. If Riot had just completely ripped Maledict as they originally intended, he would've been fun, but as is he's trash and boring.
