When I first started reading it, all I could think was "What the hell is this supposed to be?"

And then the last line. Oh man. I don't know if it was supposed to be funny or not, but I laughed.

 

I don't read this fandom at all, but I saw the reviews Hashasheen and Garden posted. They piqued my interest, so I decided to read it. I did, laughing a little at the end, then I read some of the reviews. They were all about crying and sadness. I clicked back to DLP and I saw Rehio's post. Oh man, I laughed even harder. So, this was my first foray into Naruto, and it involved much laughter. I'm still kind of amused, actually.

 

Um...

I don't think I get this one. Sasuke got trolled?

Sakura died, whether by suicide or something else, and the point of the challenge to get Sasuke used to being without her all day. Doesn't make much sense to me and didn't get a laugh, but meh.

 

I think I've seen this before...

Except it was done a lot better.

 

Story was mildly funny, but... is it that hard to put the category this fic is from in the title? You know, put "Naruto" somewhere in it so that I can know at a glance before clicking on it?

This goes for a few other fics in this section as well.

 

Either this guy plagiarized this, or is the victim of plagiarism, because there's a Bleach fic exactly like this, with the same setup and ending.

There were at least 2 more versions in other fandoms, Harry Potter and some other one I forget.

It actually works in all of them equally well, the premise is so weak it doesn't matter which characters fill which roles. It's your typical tragic romance setup.

The punchline is kind of funny, as is trolled!Sasuke. Amusing read.

Ehhh.

Now that's I've read this, ehhh.

I suppose this fic is about the precursor to dealing with grief, but I didn't feel anything emotionally from it.

The finished version isn't really tragic or funny for that matter - I liked this one better because, I didn't realize until the last phrase that she died (and was dying), so it took me by surprise.

 

I looked at the last line without quite getting it. Confused, I was about to flick back over to DLP to see if someone had explained for dunderheads like myself, but then I read it again.

And fucking bust a rib. And woke up my flatmate. Who is pissed.

Yeah, that's why I chose to post this one. It really kicks you in the gut, and its perfect because you can take it as either tragic or funny, which perfectly suits the majority of DLP.

 

I kinda got the impression that this person got the names of Naruto and Sasuke mixed up. Example:

Wake up.
Brush teeth.
Go to Sakura.
Spend time with her.
Train with her.
Let her punch him.
Let her heal him.
Punch him again.
Heal.
Punch.

But he endured, knowing after this day, tomorrow, she will marry him.

Because last I checked that was Naruto's retarded, brain dead routine of being so attention starved that they decided that some who repeatedly slams you through trees was someone you wanted to return your affections.

 

... And when was the last time you checked? In 2008? Because Naruto refused Sakura when she came up to him and said she loved him, because:
1. She didn't mean it. And Naruto is too good a guy to make her lie.
2. And because he knew she was in love with Sasuke.

And really, its not too big a stretch to assume that a Sasuke who was recaptured and brought back after all this would cling to Sakura, someone who he knows loves him and everything and would help him get off his crazyness and be a normal human being.

 

Eh... I honestly haven't read much ever since Itachi turned out to be a 'good guy'. I mean really after he tortured his little brother and killed an entire clan, including the other children Kashimoto decided to put in that retarded twist?
