    Honestly, this one's worth checking out just because they go out of their way to pile on the WTF? factor. The whole point of the show is to be awesome, and the plot isn't anything deep and certainly not slow.

    Basically, the show is about fighting robots and commandeering bigger and stupidly bigger robots (I think the last one turns out to be the moon in disguise).

    The show is for lulz.

    I could swear I've seen this somewhere on these forums. But yeah, totally WTF, and sort of in a good way too. I'll need to find time to check this show out if it's anything like this.

    Have you read the Rule of Cool page on TVTropes? This anime is based on that idea.

    Also, that fic was awesome.

    Not quite.

    The last one in the series was 10 million light years tall (and the movie had one that topped that, being 3 billion light years in height) but they're not mecha but rather giant formations of energy.
