I can't figure out Nether portals. I built this fancy chamber in my base to hold one, hopped in it, looked around for a bit, hopped back into the same one I arrived in the Nether in... and ended up in a completely separate tunnel system that I had never seen before. I finally found my way to the surface, and my lighthouse was nowhere in sight.

 

Nether portals are fun like that.

You need to either A: Go back through the gate you came from (you're lost so I guess you're SOL) or B: Make a new gate (Which you cant since you emptied your inventory)

or C: If you're on the MP servers type /home

 

Or D:

Die and respawn. >_>

Especially if all your cool stuff is safe.

 

Is there something wrong with the servers, or have I been banned or something? Whenever I try to connect, I get a "connection refused" error message.

 

Servers are down at the moment. Cheaper host, etc. But its not set up yet. >_> I expect some time tomorrow.

 

When it is, would you mind hosting the software (again) that is required to connect to the server?

The monsters are on. Lots of monsters. I was running from like 4 spiders, 3 zombies, and a skeleton before I realized I was invincible.

Then I punched them =D.

 

I've got a plugin to stop invincible multiplayer, but apparently invisible mobs attack. D:

 

I hate multiplayer invisible creepers.

You can use just about everything to make doors. If you want a fancy gate for your castle? Can has!




Pretty awesome. You can use zones, so just walking up to a door opens it and closes it behind you... Or drops uninvited guests into lava pits just beneath the floor with no escape..

 

Notch said he wanted to implement a version of this mod in the official release.

 

Whenever I try to get on, I get the error "outdated client". My client just finished updating >_>.
