My first impression upon seeing the second page is that this whole arc is going to turn out to be one of those "it was all just a dream" things where Ichigo turns out to have been in a coma while regaining his powers. I really hope that isn't so.

He looks more like Nnoitra to me.

Looks more like Shunsui to me, though much less stylish.

This is beginning to look less and less like a short arc - but it might be the one he promised about Isshin?

 

Very confused. Also, he really does look like Aizen

 

Remember, the last long arc took several years. This one might take a few months, but it'll still be short by comparison.

And yeah, this looks like it's going to be the Isshin backstory. Also powers-reclaiming for the next four year long arc.

 

I'm thinking that ramen guy could possibly be Kyoka Suigetsu - might explain why he looks like Aizen. Farfetched, but hey this is Bleach.

 

Nah, he's probably yet another BAWW SOUL SOCIETY FUCKED ME SIDEWAYS character.

Lol at Kubo, though. The drawing style is still as if they were in combat. Makes even casual conversations intense XD

 

I'm really hoping that these guys are zeros, because at this point I think that anything else would be lame.

I'm going to go out on a limb and guess that Ginjou is some other aspect of Ichigo's powers. Something about the way that he said "our" powers. Am probably completely wrong, though.

Edit: Also, with the bonus chapter this week, does it make the movie actually Canon? ;

Now what's this Bleach Hell Arc Special? A way for Kubo to draw pre-Aizen's defeat Ichigo into hell, and do some sweet combat?

It seems like a move to keep the readerbase interested. While the canon trucks away in boredom, he writes combat 'special' short arc side story. Mehs.

The new main dude in Hell looks like a mix beetween Aizen and the new bad guy/or such in the new chapter, whatever his name was. A lot of people sure look alike in bleach :/

 

It's a movie tie-in, Clerith.
