Granted, Bella's death scene in DH is shit, but not because Molly is a Housewife.

Saw the movie last night, and I found it pretty enjoyable. The scavenger hunt was well done and they left the best for he end.

Loved seeing a group of girls gasping and shouting indignantly when in the horcrux scene Harry and Hermione were making out naked LOL

About the make out scene, it was hardly anything but it did drive home to me just how bloody short Radcliffe is. Seriously, I've never noticed before.

The Tim Burton-esque Hallows shadow-play was incredible. I'd probably get the movie just for that scene.

Question, was this the first time we've seen Nagini in the movies?

 

All right, general impressions:

Overal it was average. Some nice scenes, some terrible ones.

I literally had to cover my eyes in the scene where Harry and Hermione dance. It was painful to watch.

I found Dobby's death scene surprisingly moving. "Dobby is happy to be with his friends."

That said, would have lulzed forever if Harry had replied "But Dobby, you don't have any friends."

You can just see the way his ears would droop before he died.

Ron, as always, provided much needed comic relief.

The film needed a climax. It has the Horcrux destruction scene and the escape from Malfoy manor, but because they're two separate scenes they end up destroying any climactic pacing there was.

Emma Watson has missed her calling. I thought her telling Ron how useless he is was great acting on her part. She should really play queen bitch roles.

In general I quite liked the horcrux destruction scene.

Favourite sequence of the movie has to be sneaking in to the Ministry.

Some of the magic use was nice. Harry's ability to cast a load of non-verbal spells when trying to destroy the Horcrux, his casting of the protections, his Patronus, duelling in Malfoy manor. Loved Hermione's mortar-spell when running from the Snatchers, but that was in the trailer.

I thought Yaxley was great. Both his voice, his general menace and the way he was just casually walking through the Ministry after the escaping trio chucking blasting curses all over the place.

Emma Watson has managed to regain "hot" status in my mind, bouncing back from her short hair decision. There were a few moments in the film when she looks pretty damn nice. The sideboob is one, but also some of the camping scenes.

The shadow play Tale of Three brothers was cool, but I didn't like it as much as you guys apparently did.

 

Bellatrix was awesome, as was Dobby. Neville's one line made me love him even more.
The spell casting was retarded. It was like everyone had one nonverbal spell that when cast makes shit explode. It was ticking me off majorly.
Hermione was well shown to be awesome than Harry. A round of applause to the directors.
THe illusionary Horcrux!Harry and Horcrux!Hermione were ridiculously funny because they were so totally right. Harry and Hermione were SO much better off without Ron, and happier too.
Also, was I the only one who always pronounced Accio with an 's' sound rather than a 'k' sound?

With regards to the spell casting, to be fair to the film-makers, DH did introduce 3 different spells all of which would make things explode.

I agree with the comment about Watson's bitch skills. I saw her tearing into Ron and just thought, "Wow. What a bitch. She's right, though."

Haha! I started reading the series when I was seven. They were the second chapter books I read, the first being the Deltora Quest series. I think. It was a long time ago, it might be the other way around.
