Sasori is also defeated by the deadly talk-no-jutsu (or Therapy Jutsu as Sarah1281 named it in her Naruto time-travel fic) applied by Kankuro.
Also, looks like Naruto can't use biju-mode because there's no deal for chakra-sharing between him and the kyuubi. But he is going to have his version of that bijuu-chakra-bomb/blast thingy that we've seen from hachibi and kyuubi. Apparently Rasengan was derived from that...

 

I think a lot of the weeklys are running a bit late since the monthly manga are coming out at right about the same time, so the usual crop scanners/cleaners/translators have more work to do than usual.

The delay is a bit annoying, but I'm not too bothered since monthly manga are, at least in my opinion, generally better than ones that come out every week.

Dick moves with Naruto, though. Well, the laser beam of doom is gonna be cool. Still, that revelation about Rasengan was .More protagonist exceptions for Naruto! Everything's so special for him.

So, super chakra cloak mode, and now shooting energy beams from his hands... Getting quite close to DBZ. I just hope that it's the beam attack, like against Orochimaru.

 

The pic of the 4th was pretty badass though.

 

Pic of Minato was the only good point in the chapter.

Still, that one pic puts it ahead of Bleach which hasn't had a single redeeming quality in quite a few chapters.

Pity the Naruto plot's still shit.

 

So Rasengan is a technique based on those chakra balls? I bet Minato got the basic Rasengan idea from seeing Kushina fox ball at some point in the past.

... That's a pretty big plot hole. Even by Kishi's standards.

 

I think it's because Naruto can still access the remaining chakra of the Kyuubi. That's what it seemed like in the chapter, at least. I think it's still a plot hole, though.

 

Well, the kyuubi did the biju bomb inside the seal, when Naruto went there to defeat it. It was all yin even back then so the technique shouldn't have been possible. Anyway, from the looks of it, Naruto's now gotten a new power - sage mode may well be forgotten/never used again.

In an aside, does anyone else think the anime fillers have become completely retarded?

 

I really can't see this a new power. It's the same damn move he's been using for the whole series, just with different chakra. Nice of his dad to pass on the exact technique Naruto needs to lean this "new move". Just more proof than Minato was God. He knew everything before it happened.

As for the yin yang aspect, we saw Naruto mix the two back in the fight against Orochimaru. Kishimoto plot-holed himself rather spectacularly with that one, though I've come to expect that shit nowadays. Honestly, I've developed a filter for most of the bullshit. Trying to focus on the few parts of the manga that are still awesome, like the picture of the Fourth, keeps me going.

Watched a couple of the latest episodes to see how far it had gotten and well...there's one episode with a mission about catching a ninja ostrich called Condor and latest one is about a mission to get a cat's paw print (I seriously couldn't believe what I was seeing on this one).

I thought that the retardation is ridiculously high even for Naruto anime filler.

 

So now it seems that both A and B personally fought with Minato, or at least watched him fight. He continues to be too cool for this manga.

And I'm 99% sure that Naruto has to be able to make the Rasengan one-handed. If he can't then the notion that he can summon clones and create Rasengans faster than the top tier of ninja can perceive seems a bit silly.

 

Yeah, the filler episodes have mostly been pretty painful; too bad they didn't stick with the old Shippuden formula of fleshing out side characters and minor plot points. The most recent episode particularly bugged me since they had a brief mention of Yugito, which just made me realize that the entire episode could have gone from fail to win if they just made it about getting her jinchuriki form's pawprint.

I can understand why they're doing fillers so that they won't have to break up the big finale if they start getting close to overtaking the manga, but why did they have to go back to fail-filler?

 

one would think that with his clone learning ability and over-usage of using said clones to make the damned technique, he'd have learned how to do a one-hand Rasengan by now...

 

Maybe he unwittingly uses his own chakra in place of the yang and it works for whatever reason? Maybe Killerbee wouldn't even notice. Anyone outside of the toads and Jiraiya know about the whole ying-yang thing?

This may be nit-picky, but did it explicitly say that yin = negative white chakra, and yang = positive black chakra (or vice versa)? It could just be two different things, you know--like all of a bijuu's chakra has these two attributes, rather than being split into the yin and yang separately. Meh.
