    Rampant alcoholism, passed down through multiple generations.

    That one with Harry, Ginny, Ron and Hermione going back and becoming the founders is an old concept. I've never seen it done well and last more than 3 chapters (because who wants to read about four people making a castle?).

    Nonetheless, you need something stronger sometimes. This was one of those times.
