This has been updating recently, and it just keeps getting stranger. In an awesome way, of course.

 

If you guys are still following this, there is one alternate version that deals with swapping Yukiteru with Akise Aru. He's the kid detective who has an idea about the diaries,who can change futures and dead ends, but doesn't have a diary himself.

Also a prequel for one of the characters (Uryuu Minene).

Can't wait to see what the 11th's diary is. Seems to have deadly accuracy so far.

 

Updated. A bit disappointing, in that little happened. But it looks like the next two will be big.

EDIT: Don't know why the hell Yuki remotely trusted Yuno all this time. I can understand for most of the manga he needed her help, but all his other "friends" died telling him that Yuno couldn't be trusted, something he was questioning for the entire manga, really. Silly boy gonna' get axed.

By the way, I get that Akise was a genius and all, but how the hell did he come to that conclusion?

The "OVA" is out. It was announced as a pilot, but I'd never guessed that they mean it's just 8 minutes long...

It looks ok, but with just 8 minutes you can't say if it will be good or bad.

 

I was actually excited for this, but then it turned out to be eight minutes long.

I just don't see the point, really.

 

Is it going to be serialized? Or is this just a tease.

 

Many people are calling this the pilot episode, but it's hard to get an official word when all the information is in Japan.

Yeah, it wasn't that brilliant. Though it was to be expected if you consider the last chapters.

I actually was positively surprised when I thought it ended with him floating in space doing nothing. But then the author had to add a mushy happy end . Deux enabling both to together become his successor is contradicting all the manga stood for.
