Holy hell man, good effing job. Twelve million dollars in a day or two. Too bad it's not for real in your case. Now I'm wondering how many people out playing the real stocks just hit the jackpot with that.

Did you just pick that stock at random or was there a motive for it?

Massive bump, since we're nearing the end of the game.

I'm currently 47 out of 80, which is not that bad considering much of my capital was used buying BP stock. Way to fail.

    Well played, Psychotic Cat.

Lol, I was like predictor of bad stock.

Toyota? Massive multi-billion dollar costing scandal which resulted in massive product recalls.

BAE? Corruption investigations that cost contracts and seriously cut the share price.

    Wait...what? 8 out of 80?! Last time I looked I was like 99 of 100. o_O

Gogo stealing the solar power idea from someone else. :D

On the other hand, fuck that gold company I invested in. They don't even exist anymore!

Netflix and Apple did very well. Too bad I forgot to invest in Netflix and wont invest in Apple.

I'm happy with my overall performance, drifting between the top 10 during the whole thing; well played Psychotic Cat, but I still can't believe that actually happened. Shit on my face. It's a bit difficult for me trying to research stocks in the American market, my real portfolio for the year did a little better, but still I've actually learned a lot from this virtual scenario!

I'd definately be up for another round.

68 out of 80, professional investing is not in my future I can see. Still I'd be up for another round, and hopefully I would even manage not to lose money this time.

I'm in if you guys are doing it again. Does it teach you anything about the real stock market?

It depends how seriously you take it. You could just throw your money at a certain stock and leave it for a year, not getting much out of the experience but theorhetically could do well in the game. But if you take the time and effort to go over past performance, evaluate a business yourself on turnover etc and feel you can make a profit on the current price of the shares, than yes you can learn a lot.

Hmm, 36 out of 81. Not too terribly bad with more than a 10% profit.

Naturally no one managed to touch Psychotic after his amazing stroke of luck (though damn I'd be hitting myself if I was him for that not being real money).

4th out of 81 with a 55% return on my investments. Not a bad outcome.
